For what it's worth, here is my 2 cents: The cemeteries that you feature are usually very old. And as they are very old, many of the individuals interred at those cemeteries are long forgotten or have no living direct descendants. The graves stones are monuments to those individuals, they or their families wanted future people to remember them a certain way. That is why we have cemeteries and perpetual care of those places, to honor and remember the life of every soul. You are doing a service to those people, by respecting the cemetary and sharing your passion for the history it contains. Keep your chin up and don't let the haters get to you. I personally enjoy your cemetery videos.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with visiting a cemetery or graveyard and looking at the graves. It's not morbid because there is a lot of history, art, and symbolism on graves, and they were intended to be viewed by anyone that happened by. Also desecration applies to vandalism or disinterring of the bodies, not the simple act of respectfully viewing them. Benjamin Franklin himself said "To learn the character of a community, I need only to visit their cemeteries."

It's sad that someone complained about your cemetery visits, yet they hang around to complain. What's up with that??? I enjoy your visits. At one time, visiting a cemetery was a destination. Pack a picnic lunch and read the stones, many of which were engraved with entertaining epitaphs. I cross stitch and there are MANY designers who make pencil rubbings of the actual grave stones and chart them. Absolutely no disrespect or harm done to the stones.

I for one LOVE when you visit cemeteries! I believe you are very respectful! Cemeteries do tell amazing "stories" of history if you are patient and take the time to really see things! Cemeteries are amazing historical bookmarks of culture/multiculturalism providing remarkable insight into the lives of the living at the time of the dead. Measures of economic, family , treatment of poor or unloved are literally carved into stone. The information that can be gleaned from how a society cares for its dead is revealing to say the least! Study or fascination of cultural icons such as cemeteries is not morbid. Its a fascinating and revealing adventure into the past.

Cliff Mr. Bitter was a predominant citizen and a contractor of a coal company. He was Lutheran, and on a Sunday he had friends over to his home and suffered from a stroke and never regained consciousness. It looks like a majority of the of your viewers and myself like the cemetery videos from the comments below. Your walks in them are peaceful and give us viewers historical information. its not desecrating whoever said that needs help. you are respecting and sharing lives that are long gone, and all the hard work they did in those times, otherwise these places and their stories would be long gone, and forgotten to time, that is real desecration
