I think Girliman fits the Tau the best given that hes the most diplomatic among the primarchs which fits the Taus philosophy to integrate societies rather than annihilate them Jaghatai could fit with any of the eldar factions given their tendencies for speed
@cookiedudegaming2 ай бұрын
A couple of ideas for some of the other primarchs in this timeline: Guiliman lands with the primitive Tau, and ends up guiding them and accelerating their progress even further. As time progresses, he would grow old (over thousands of years, being a primarch) and would be treated in a similar way to Puretide in that he's cryogenically frozen until the empire needs him again. Alpharius (and/or Omegon) remain on Terra as in the normal timeline, and help the Emperor grow the Imperium through the Great Crusade, acting as heads of a pseudo-inquisition/secret police managed by the emperor as a necessary evil. Fulgrim and Magnus reach the Eldar craftworlds and slowly gain respect for their martial perfectionism as an Aspect Warrior/Phoenix Lord and a Farseer. Ferrus lands on a dormant Necron tomb world and becomes corrupted/enamored by their technology until he essentially merges his mind with that of the overlord of the dynasty to become it's insane, Silent King rivaling leader. Maybe the Hrud enthrall another one of them, or another (Corax or Kurze?) gets infected by a genestealer? Add any other ideas bellow!

A Votaan-raised Vulkan, whose forgemastery and compassionate heart mixed with the fierce clan-focus and ancestor worship of the stout Votaan. A Kroot-raised Konrad Curze, mixing his strong sense of justice and skill at stealth with the Kroot's predatory instincts and the Shaper's guidance in where to direct both his hunt, and his justice. A Eldar-raised Jaghatai Khan, whose desire for SPEED and dedication to improvement mixed with the Eldar's pursuit of skill and specialization, as well as their desire to mold the future. The only sticking point with anyone raised by the Tau is that the timeline is mismatched. they didn't even exist during the heresy, barely a twinkle in the space dust of the Damocles Gulf. so they'd either emerge hella late or the Tau would have to be retconned earlier (which has weird implications for their expansion)

Imagine Fulgrim... raised by Craftworld Eldar in the immediate aftermath of the birth of Slaanesh - channeling all his perfectionism in constructive ways. Or Ferrus Manus turned into a Genestealer Patriarch-esque creature by the very first wave of Tyranid infiltration organisms at the galaxies edge. Sanguinous lands on the world that would become the T'au homeworld, and instead of the Ethereals he's in charge of or at least very significant to a radically altered Tau Empire. Konrad Curze could become a terrifying Haemonculous among the dark eldar. (Or worse, a horrifying project *for* a Haemonculous coven.) Vulkan, being raised among the Leagues of Votann could be really interesting - though being a perpetual he could probably have wound up among any species in the galaxy and eventually found a way to thrive. Awesome! What a great concept. Raises the interesting question of what happens when the Emperor finds his lost sons. Without looking at other comments, let me think about some other primarchs: El'Johnson: Seems appropriate that he lands amongst the Rangda (his legion suffered greatly fighting against them), but I don't know if they'd keep him alive. Fulgrim: Are Dark Eldar too obvious? Maybe the Laer, which would ironically lead to Fulgrim falling to Slaanesh again if he survived. Perturabo: I'm not sure, him and his legion seem to have a history exclusive to the many faults of humanity? Khan: Has a big grudge against the Drukhari, so they could be an ironic choice, or the Aeldari in for his preference for lightning strikes. Russ: Could also work with orcs, maybe primal ones, so he gets to ride a giant beast of some sort. Dorn: Don't know. Curze: Drukhari are again the obvious pick. Sanguinius: Aeldari, but that sounds boring. Manus: Squats/Leagues of Votann (would have to do some timey-wimey stuff for that to work though) Guilliman: Tau, so that he can build a nice empire and start a nice farm like he always wanted. Mortarion: Unsure. Magnus: Eldar seems boring, maybe someone Necrons? There's a pyramid, egyptian theme. Or a remnant of Slann(i)? Horus: No Clue. Lorgar: Genestealer Cult. He becomes an almighty cult leader of an entire sector, and then gets eaten by the Tyranids. Also Erebus gets slowly digested by a tyramid digestion pool. Vulkan: Eldar, because of the whole Salamander-Eldar thing. Or the Jokaero? Corax: The Drukhari/Aeldari keep popping up in this list. But also, 40k needs more xenos. Maybe make some up/draw from other fantasy. Alpharius/Omegon: Picked up by the Cabal to fight the 'Primordial Annihilator'. Also, for the last remaining missing primarch - wood elf/drycha (sylvari?) primarch. He almost dies on a sentient world, and his warp presence/conscious gets absorbed into the world consciousness, being able to manifest himself as an elemental construct of nature itself. The not-quite skaven primarch you made could work in this universe too, being stranded with a skaven-like alien race, where his bio-engineering expertise allowed him to become the monster he is.

A very nice conversion. And now I am imagining two versions of Rogal Dorn as an Eldar Autarch. One male, leaning into the Dark Reaper, Striking Scorpion, and Swooping Hawk Aspects. The other female, heavily leaning into the Fire Dragon, Dire Avenger, and Howling Banshee Aspects.

Pete's skills with kit bashing, painting and videography are all top-notch. How about a Leman Russ who was raised among Squats? Oh. that's just Leman Russ, isn't it?

If you’re interested, there’s yet another alternative timeline called “Tha big backstabbin’” that sometimes gets artwork on the ImaginaryWarhammer subreddit- it’s essentially just “what if all the Primarchs were Orks instead of humans?”, but it’s pretty interesting design-wise and would be a great inspiration for more kitbashes!

@Pete The Wargamer, Why didn't you fill that giant void in the throat area? Also, why didn't you just make him a thumb out of bits? Also, Wouldn't he have either a sleight ting of green in his skin tone or patchy green parts and not just one? The checker parts look unfinished. Maybe add some yellow to them to match the other yellow parts. Other than that that dude is a boss for sure! Great job!

Oooh, what if we had the Lion, but raised by Joekaro? Instead of being a traditional knight, he'd be more like Tarzan but with armor and the ability to throw hands like no one else could

Thats the best thing you have done in ages Pete. Keep up the good work!

Lately I've been thinking of making a homebrew chapter of space marines led by one of the lost primarchs, part of my lore was going to be about how he'd been lost in the void and found by a none human race and who had taken him in and taught him their ways, this video has given me ideas and some much needed hope of how to pull it off, thank you so much 😁👍

Love this concept, and the build is amazing! Glad you threw in some green at the end didn't feel right otherwise. Wouldn't work in lore but I'd love to see a Guilliman who ended up being adopted by a genestealer cult, they're both logistics nerds with a hardon for plans so I think it fits (And also, Guilliman with a bonesword would be sick)

This is so fun! If any 'umie could lead the orks, its Angry 'un! Might makes right after all. Love the build! Please do more of this concept Necron Perturabo would be amazing!

You could tie 1 primary to each subfaction - all the Ork clans, the Eldar craft worlds, harlequins, the tao casts and auxiliaries, etc... also that head looks plenty orky after you clipped the pointier bits. Fun multi-verse idea for a new build series.

Sanguinius that is taken in by the necrons, it is said in one of the books Sang was revered by a necron lord who wore a death mask when Dante treated with him.

I always liked the idea that one of the lost Primarchs was raised by Orks and that their belief that they were "dah best ork" and their combined psychic ability literally corrupted the genetics of the Primarch and made them part Ork, which is why they needed to be purged. The head cannon is also that the only reason they weren't more widely known and the orks not an even bigger problem is because the Primarchs inability to access Waaah energy meant they only even influenced Orks on a relatively local (planet wide perhaps) level, otherwise they would have caused a Waaaaah on a scale even Gazkul couldn't dream of

Oooo, imagine if you will Jaghatai Khan raised by the dark eldar(durkari)! The wise Khan educated in the ways of sadism and hedonism like no other, his speed and body only increased by the homunculi

Sanguinius landing on Craftworld Ulthwe and being raised by Eldrad would be amazing! The two could have bonded over their abilities of farsight and Eldrad could have taught the Primarch to hone his skills in precognition

I might be late, But a Farseer Magnus Would be Incredible. Raised by responsibol warp users, his might would be insane, but he would still think he knows better and would still summon demons dispite his Eldar brethren telling him not to.

When you were talking about not letting established lore dictate your hobby and to have fun with it, you reminded me that ages and ages ago I made a unit of space marines, but they were lizardmen. At the time I didn't really think about their lore, but nowadays I'd likely just say that the lore is something along the lines of there gene-seed was from one of the lost primarchs but due to warp exposure their gene-seed faults which would normally cause them to grow scaly skin and have claws, mutated them further and changed their bone structure as well as giving them tails and more powerful jaws. They might not look human at all, but they still fight for humans, though due to their nature and the fact they're descendants of a lost primarch they're not recognized by the imperium and their policy is to shoot to kill these lost bothers.

Jaghatai Khan and the eldar, specifically the Harlequins. I like the idea of the force that swapped him and Fulgrim in the pod scattering being the Laughing God.

I can imagine the Lion being flung close to the Galactic core where the Squats/Votann find him and take him in, I can see part from the WH fantasy Dwarf kits being used to give Lion that Votann/Dwarfie style

A Necron, C'tan, Nightbringer themed Corvus as the angel of death seems good for me, a dark eldar themed Ferrus as the fleshforger also. If we stick to the existing primarch models a Tau themed Guilliman would be fitting - I think - for the big guy in blue. Thank you for your video and the brainstorming.

Russ ending up with the Votann (squats) would be quite funny sure the votann and SW share a lot of traits and inspiration. Russ would be a giant amongst the votann.

The only version of Angron i could ever like, what a great build! I would LOVE to see some sort of Leman Russ and Tyranid crossover. Not sure how that could ever happen, but it would be sick.
