This is, to this day, my favorite song from "The Warning". Ever since KZbin suggested a song of yours to me, everything has happened to me. I am blown away by your complex musical talent, which is uniquely showcased in this song. You really master your instruments, your energy is unique and Dany puts a feeling into the song that captivates me every time. Who would expect such lyrical, critical and dark lyrics from such a young band? I can't wait to see you on your European tour in Germany. Stay creative. You definitely have me as a fan. The KZbin algorithm, which I normally ignore, decided I needed to listen to this band. I resisted. Then just so I could place this channel on DND, I decided to listen to Money. I thought it was a cover of another Money (Pink Floyd). After one song, I subscribed (which I never do). I have been geeking out on this band and telling everyone I know. So good and I am not a metalhead.

I'm old enough to remember a time when you bought an album, listened to it over and over, dissecting the lyrics, learning the riffs and simply getting lost in the process. TW takes me back to that time and, dare I say, maybe exceeds even some of my fondest memories. Can't wait to see them live!

Traditional Mexican styles? These sisters are on the warpath against many traditions. They seek to evolve and leave behind submissive ignorance, false compassionate charity and the cult of death in life. You will see it clearly if you translate some of its lyrics, like Martirio. Are they of Mexican origin and does that culture influence the melody of their songs? Yes, I sure do. Original notes in her compositions? Yeeeesssss!. No doubt! They are themselves, without masks, just as they are.

Ok, I just listened through the whole Album and WOW, Queen of the Murder Scene was fantastic but this is next level for sure. I don't think The Warning could create a song the I would hate, it's just not possible. Money is my absolute favourite but every song is a gem. This album is a true successor to 21 century blood as it covers many of the same themes of most of us living either with our eyes closed, being fooled by higher powers or suck in our own dream worlds. It makes me wonder if the band members are terrified by the events we are living through these days. Revenant was a total surprise and delight to hear as a slow song. Is this their Stairway to Heaven, who knows? When I listened to Amour, I had the familiar feeling that I heard part of this song before but then it hit me that it shares notes with Wild Wild West by Escape Club. These things happen from time to time but I got to say that Amour is wayyyyyyy better than that Escape club song. Will I go listen to Escape Club after I write this, likely, but I will come back to listen to this Album again. Does Ale sing Breath? we don't hear her very often but when we do, we love it. This Album is a banger and one to play loud while on a road trip. Keep up the fantastic work The Warning, we love it!

Hadn't thought about Escape Club in a long time, will have to check the song, I think I even recall the video. Sadly, Ale does not sing lead in the new album. Breath was played and recorded by Paulina at home at the last minute because distributors needed 14 songs for the album

This is such a strong song. The lyrics are perfect, and demonstrate a mastery of the language that I envy, as someone who only speaks English. The concept is simple - broken relationships and hard-feelings - but the lyrics deal head-on with such honest and ugly feelings, while also being so natural and conversational sounding. They aren't forced, they flow like real thought and speech. Lyrics that are pretty and poetic have their place, but I've always been more impressed by lyrics that are plain-spoken and that anybody can understand and relate to. Talking directly to a person rather than over their head is always more effective. Although there is some great imagery and poetry here. It just doesn't feel like poetry. This was supposed to be a compliment lol. You guys are master lyricists. You guys are poets. Your lyrics are as strong as your musicianship, composing, and performing. And just like your lyrics, every time I dig into your music I'm always impressed. You can turn 2 or 4 chords into full epic songs (Crimson Queen and Red Hands) or use uncommon and interesting musical concepts that I've never heard of like Chromatic Mediants (Martirio). And whether the song is simple or complex, or short or epic, every single chorus is a huge radio hook just waiting to catch on. I'm no music expert or anything, I'm just a new fan that has been blown away by this band. I hope you guys are very proud of yourselves, and that you don't ever doubt your abilities. Outside help is always welcome, but you guys have the ears and the eyes for great songs. Believe in yourselves, and trust in yourselves, and in each other. It's only a matter of time before you have the young and energetic crowds that you deserve, going crazy to your music; and you are inspiring others to pick up a guitar, just as you were inspired to do. You're just getting started, and it's only a matter of time. Sorry for the rambling comment - this is what it looks like when someone doesn't have a way with words lol.
