Guys complaining about the sound have to keep in mind: 1. It's quarantine. In the house were their parents and the three sisters. No one more. None of the video crew and none of the sound crew and not even their manager who is always there for them. 2. All they had were the drums, their amps, their instruments and mics recorded LIVE to KZbin and Facebook only with 2 SMARTPHONES! That's all. I think that's a pretty badass sound and video quality with those aspects in mind! Perfectly mixed under that circumstances! Thank you again D,P,A,M and L for the great show!
@manfredbrosche56614 жыл бұрын
Exactly! Yiou have to keep in mind, that cellphones are not designed to record live music although some models (modern iPhones especially) do a very good job here (just check Rudy's recordings). They emphasize on the midrange (frequencies of talking) and cut off the very low frequencies (traffic noise). They also tend to saturate, when exposed to loud noise. Nevertheless, even with these restrictions, the sound of this video is absolutely extraordinary! It is hard to believe, that they can get such a transparent, clear and well balanced sound in such a small room. And there is even a big mirror on one of the walls. I would like to encourage people, who complain about the sound, to check, if you have any friends, who play in a band, and ask them, if you could attend one of their practice sessions. You will be shocked, how loud (Drumkits don't have a volume knob and the other instruments have at least to have the same volume. If you want to run the drums over a mixer to balance the the sound of the toms and cymbals out, you have to be even louder.) and how bad the sound usually is. Being a kid of the eighties, who has paid a lot of his pocket money for illegal bootlegs of his favorite bands at fleamarkets or in some secret backrooms of record stores, I was happy to get recordings, where you were at least able to recognize, which songs were played. LOL. All these private cellphone videos, that we get here from staff members or fans in the audience are so, so much better than that and I am really, really grateful for anyone, who gives us fans from far away a chance to remotely participate in those gigs. And I will never, ever complain about the visuals or the sound. These guys have spent money to attend the show and instead of just enjoying the gig, they spend it all the time with their phones in their hands, to give us the chance to be there. So here's a big, big THANK YOU!!! to all of them! :-)

What I love about this is that it isn't perfect... it's live like any live concert.... how many "live" acts have been caught "red handed" (heh heh) singing or playing a part that was not actually in the song and couldn't be heard (so they were faking it) or NOT singing or NOT playing when there was clearly supposed to be that person singing or playing live..... I don't mean like backing tracks which we all use when needed... but you know what I mean. Some artists are literally faking their performances. This is the real thing and it makes me SO happy!

"I feel so evil when i sing that." I feel you, Dany, i feel you. That's the exact feeling that i felt after listening QOTM for the first time. I was laid on my bed while listening the whole album and when i heard the song, i immediately woke up and read the lyrics. Queen of The Murder Scene is perfect. Well, it's beyond perfect🥂

How the hello did I miss this?!? This is FANTASTIC! Thank you ladies, 4 years later. Gotta figure this was done completely out of generosity. They could’ve just shut down like every one else. Smart move though, keeping themselves in performance mode.

59 year old here. Big fan of Band-Maid and a dozen or so of other female Japanese bands. The Warning has been on my radar for at least 4 years, but I never really listened to them. Legit should have given them more ear time earlier. Top tier hard rock band, no doubt about it. Great songcraft, and the chemistry of sisters can't be beat. These young ladies have a long successful career ahead of them.

Well, they are girls for one thing. Plus, they are Mexicans...which is not to say that Mexicans are especially marginalized. They could be from Thailand or Vietnam...even Brazil.

Ale's bass line in P.S.Y.C.H.O.T.I.C is just an absolute killer. Then the vocal harmonies in 'The End' keeps me watching over and over!

They were using two cellphones. One for KZbin, the other for Facebook. Rudy was not there to help setup a proper live stream. This is the first time they have done it without Rudy's help.

Absolutely the first. Some old fart by the name of Elton John and other lame artists did a Live Stream a week later for iHeart but they sucked. The Warning were the first and the best. I watched them at work that Thursday. I had to keep the volume down though.

Even when they are loose like this, they are still so tight as a band, and playing to the mirror like a real audience was in front of them.

I’m from the future and started listening to music in 1960 when I was 10. I was a teen during the start of the Beatles and Stones. You are as talented and creative as those legendary acts, but more personable and very wholesome. Your parents are awesome and incredibly supportive! Thanks for being a huge part of reviving Rock, I am a fan for life! Viva the Warning!!!!
