Drag may not be a contact sport, but these queens are not afraid to put their bodies on the line.
If you've ever been to a drag show, you know gender-bending is just one aspect of the performance. Elaborate lip-syncing plays a pivotal role during a queen's set on stage, and throughout these performances, one particular dance move has been known to slay the stage.
It's called a "death drop," and it's no small feat.
We wanted to better understand this show-stopping maneuver, so we went to RuPaul's DragCon in NYC to ask some of our favorite queens if they could teach us how to master it. Behold: the infamous death drop.

You have plenty of padding and don't need to be that flexible, you'll be fine. One shouldn't do the jump splits though, that tends to lead to pelvis injuries and hip replacements eventually.
