Xenia is a beautiful name too! Wonder what it means. Google time! Edit: Taken from the Greek word xenia, meaning "hospitality", from xenos, meaning "stranger" or "foreigner". Wow! So the opposite of XENOphobia. Xenophile! A person attracted to foreigners. That is a deep name. So many connections.

I love how Xenia speaks about Jesus and verses and has a lot of things to say, she goes in and out of different scriptures and connects them to the topic. Jesse is also really intelligent in scripture and he entertains Xenia’s stories, he is a really good friend. Watching the way two of you talk about God inspires me to know more about Him. He is truly amazing and teaches us new things everyday. My prayer is to be like Jesus. May God All Mighty be with us. God bless you both, your team, me, people in the comments and others who live on this planet Amen.

Soo great to see the Bible brought alive here, as the Holy Spirit works in these conversations. There's so many things that can draw us away these days, including in ministry, that it's so important to go back to the Bible. It can be super helpful to listen, as we can learn so much through each other, when we can find it hard on our own. Looking forward to listening to the others & being inspired to keep reading on my own! Thanks guys.

Four months ago I was agnostic and Psalm 23 played a big role in converting me to Christianity. I was struggling because a friend got diagnosed cancer, when I felt called to go into a church next to where I worked. I was talking with God and I felt his presence in my heart like never before, tears were running down my face when suddenly I started feeling a peace that was out of this world. Many things happened and I was afraid of forgetting them all. Psalm 23 kept repeating in my mind. I asked the Lord to help me remember it all and He answered: “Do not be afraid, all is love. You will not forget my word. The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing, that sums it all up. If you remember that you will never forget my word, I speak to you Arlet. I am in your heart.”. I sang that Psalm at school as a kid, but did not recall it from memory. Later my mom told me that song also sounded at my grandfather funeral, when I was not even born. I will be forever grateful for God helping me open my heart to Him.❤

This study was so great😊This was so beautiful. I like the verse 1 that talks about trials and temptations because through endurance and perseverance we are sure that we have a reward installed for us and we see this in the book of MATTHEW 5:12 the Bible says that "Rejoice and be glad, because great is the reward in heaven.......... " and Xenier the book that you were talking about milk and solid food is Hebrews 5:12-14. May God bless you all😊

Gracefully inspiring ❤ My understanding is that; Do not wish your trials away, instead pray to receive what was promised through those trials and the grace to overcome those seasons of your life Because like the 5 loaves of bread and 2 fishes found within the multitudes that the disciples wished away, so is the crown of life and blessings the Lord has promised, given to us through our seasons of trials and stretching

Very true I never used love this part when I first read James 1 on trials. Until I realized that God was refining me when it come to trials. You always want to them to stop but you realize to ask for help and have a different attitude towards trials when they come. You realize that trials prepare you for to be mature enough. Xenia you are right on boasting in the book of James. I being reminded about in Genesis, Cain who had the desire of self ambition and didn't follow up after to ask where his brother was? Also Matthew says in Matthew 6:33 draws us to seek first his kingdom and all these things will be added unto us. A lot of the times we interchange things and replace it with God. We have choosen to pursue things instead of God and what he has for us.

If indeed this James is the same biological brother of Jesus while he was on earth, it is definitely somehow mind blowing that he starts James 1:1 in that way. Jesus was really God to him superseding sibling relationship. The entire book of James despite how short is one of the most powerful and deep books of the Bible. It was a case of no verse wasted (not that any part of the Bible is). It is just so profound

Listening to you both Xenia and Jesse you make reading the bible and studying easy, simple, direct and impactful to hear what we may have missed out on and what we need to search through the scriptures. The Way podcast is like a scroll being read and spoken a generation that didn't know and understand what God had instore for them.
