It is easy-you just count the strides and divide them by the race time. You get step frequency. If you divide 100 by the amount of strides you get stride length.

@@TheWayToWin yes, I understand how you could figure this, but has anyone actually done it? For example, how many steps did Flo Jo take compared to how many steps Sha’Carri takes? If they are taking the same number of steps in roughly the same amount of time, then the shorter runner has an impressively long stride, or if not, then she has an impressively fast frequency. Theoretically, taller runners should be faster due to their inherently longer stride length. Just look at Mr. Bolt. Bottom line is that it’s amazing how someone this short can go this fast!

Look at what God has done, lifted her to Greatness, where are those who wrote her off now? They can’t say anything she’s above their writing skills their options don’t matter now and most of all Sha’Carri doesn’t care to even talk to them she hasn’t forgot those who attacked her when she was down and now she’s to high for them to reach her heights. You've pointed out something I never noticed, Sha'Carri never lands flat-footed, she runs on the balls of her feet as opposed to Shericka in this video. If she mixes in some endurance training over the coming years (300/400m) reps - she could go on to become the greatest 100/200 m female sprinter the world has ever seen, maybe eclipsing Shelley-Ann-Fraser Price. Shericka is the 200 m GOAT right now because of her early years of 400 m running.

It amazes me how in one season she’s shut down almost every single BS lie and other claims her haters keep spewing about her. She’s run tons internationally and won, contrary to their statements. She’s defeated all the top Jamaicans, contrary to claims she could not. She has run sub 10.7 despite folks continually saying she couldn’t. She not only has three World Medals, but two World Medals in Championship Records with one in a World Record breaking split. Need I go on? It must really suck to be a ShaCarri hater right now with nothing to say other than yah’ don’t like her fingernails or think she doesn’t act white enough, despite the fact she is proudly BLACK! ROFL

We had a slightly wind aided 10.57 this year with a celebration 10m out from the finish.
@stevie586 Жыл бұрын
@@dennisrobinson8008 I agree! The cool thing about that 10.57 is so many folks kept saying she needed wind to run that time, while failing to realize the times someone runs windy are times their body is actually capable of running. That 10.65 into a headwind showed very clearly ShaCarri and run a legal 10.5 right now. I really, reeeally want ShaCarri to run all the way to the line at least to put down a good time; that 10.65 would’ve been even lower had she not celebrated, and especially if she dipped (it’s like she actually pulled her torso back). I wanna see her separate herself with proper times.

Lol. Next year Miramar might be a 10.4

One Season has changed the Destiny Of Many Great Sprinters; But, the One Most Maligned and Mistreated In History for it unfortunately will Always Be Flo Jo, because it continues to this very Day. RIP Sprint Queen. Peace...
@stevie586 Жыл бұрын
@@ronniejohnson196amen! FloJo will stay on their minds because she did something folks nearly 40 years later still CANNOT, so they resort to calling her a drug cheat. However, drugs cannot POSSIBLY account for FloJo’s mechanics, plan of execution, etc. FloJo’s claim to fame is her groundbreaking mechanics, mastery of relaxation, and a plan of execution that may never in the future be matched nor surpassed! Drugs cannot do this…they just give strength/power…nothing else! ShaCarri is there with FloJo (and Elaine has got it also) with simply efficient mechanics!

The race officials said that the electronics broke down right before the race and they weren't able to officially r cord the split times. I personally contacted them in February and they emailed the same response.

theres frame by frame analysis which more precise time measurement
@tyronetarver34538 ай бұрын
@@TheWayToWinMaybe, but if the race officials who have been doing this for decades thought so, I'm sure they would have posted split times within the last 10 months. Again, I emailed them myself earlier this year and they said that they would post no official split times.
