Also in Wano we have the deaths of Oden, Yasue, Kanjuro, Izou, Hawkins and that's just off the top of my head but sure Oda didn't kill a pig 0 stakes in this story. One piece has a lot of issues like any Mangaka but this one in particular is nitpicking at it's finest. The worst fake out deaths were pre time skip, Pele comes to mind and Coni's father in Skypiea are examples but when D list characters aren't killed but major characters have deaths with actual impact to a story to ignore that and say Oda doesn't kill off characters is straight up dishonest.

Tbh a rail gun isn't all that complex. Along as you have a barrel lined with electromagnets that are all alligened to repell than attract, a projectlie and a power source then your good to go. You can literally one in fallout 4 in a post apocalyptic wasteland lol I'm pretty sure a super powered woman with acces to rail gun plans via the Internet could pull it off too lol. The only question is where she gets the fats from but then again she could just be using it in a far more efficient way and is thus able to make slight more complex things with less fat. It's just the natural progression for this type of power

So the movies were already canon. Deku's vigilante arc, he had his gauntlets made by Melissa. And the other island movie was canon because Shigaraki killed the main villain power at the end which helped him to better gain control of AFO because the whole time it was a test to see how it would affect Shigaraki

The death bated arms killed a lot of the hype for me ngl, that should have been his captain america staring down thanos's army panting, exhausted, no realistic chance of winning, but strapping up anyway to take his stand type moment and then his allies come through to aid him in that endevour and he finishes all for one with shoot style, conquering evil with his own style/power, then in the epiloge we see eri healing/rewinding his arms with tears in her eyes happy to finally be able to help deku or some shit like that. But whatever it is what it is, maybe someone would do something akin to AOT no requiem for MHA.

@@Nerwrax15 well he wasn't in any danger of bleeding out since his arms weren't sliced or taken off in a way that would leave an open wound , no open wounds so very little risk of getting infected, he didn't lose his entirety of his arms so he would still have enough balance though it would be very disorienting but not to the extent that he would not be able to get the job done especially with the aid of his allies. But hey maybe I am wrong, maybe I am underestimating the severity of losing most of both arms, and to that i say, it should not have been done in the first place if he's just gonna immediately get them back, it's a good shock factor for sure but that does not even get time to marinate in the story because the second it happens it's resolved, it's redundant as hell.

@@Crying_Iron9277 might need check the chapter again my friend, Deku's arm's were effectively torn off, he was leaving big blood splotchs on the ground and his stubs were covered in it, just the look on his face told you he was in zero shape to move around, much less fight. Maybe if they were magically removed sure, but Deku was absolutely feeling the pain of his arms pretty much being ripped from his body. And him losing his arms wasn't neccessarily incapicate him but to allow Eri to contribute without absolutely tanking things in the heroes favor too much. For all it matters Deku still is not in perfect shape and needed his allies to assist him all the same. He wasn't going to reach OFA as he is now, without his allies' help, arms or no arms.

I'm thinking next chapter, we go back into the vestige world, spend one or two there with Shigaraki finally breaking out and giving Deku all his power back, or at least just Base OFA, then we close it up with the typical Shonen flashforward.

manga can affect his environment using onomatopoeia, so if he makes bubbling gurgling sounds those words might form along with a river, or swamp. he can also say things like "BABOOM" and a giant stone "baboom" will crash into his targeted area

I don’t think the punch will immediately drop AFO, but it’ll definitely end the fight. Considering how Izuku’s arms are still healing, meaning Eri’s energy is still active, that energy might be transferred into AFO’s body through the punch, rewinding it back enough to potentially allow Shigaraki to return. After that, it would probably be a case of Shigaraki destroying AFO from within.

IMO, Deku giving up OFA should've been the final move. Like, he runs up and shoves his fist down Shiggy's throat and releases the power whereupon he blows up like season 1 Deku because it's been established that even with Shiggy's modifications, you still have to be quirkless to not die. The rest of the series would be epilouge of the heroes rebuilding and Deku learning to be a hero with only tiny wisps of OFA and hero suppot items
