i have an idea for a supernatural character: angel abilities are pretty easy to guess any love towards a certain thing decides how strong an angel is for example the chocolate angel would be stronger than the heaven/angel angel since some are scared of heavens and angels while nearly nobody is afraid of chocolate and love it so it be stronger the more devils they consume the stronger they get and they would actively try to look like a good being as to get the masses to love them making them stronger and they will not be able to reincarnate if a devil of that thing exists same goes for devils

I just thought of this-- probably not the first, but oh well-- Denji is, like, the perfect hybrid. Being a chainsaw, he produces so much blood while fighting anyone that he has just about infinite fuel so to speak. (Pun a bit intended) Allowing him to stay alive and power up throughout the entire fight.

Uh, no, I believe that eating other devils to erase them is only a power the chainsaw devil has. It’s explicitly pointed out in-universe, and everyone views it as an odd ability for that devil to have. However, it’s also explicitly stated that the thing doesn’t just vanish as a concept, like you said, because Makima also explicitly states that one of the concepts he erased, was that of hybrid devils, yet hybrid devils like Denji can still happen. It’s not a permanent stop on the existence of a thing, it just completely severs all current human understanding and/or memory of that thing, and permanently kills the devil associated with it, so much so, that it seems that even if humans relearn what they forgot, it will not spawn a new devil.

The hype behind this story might be deserved depending on how well the anime animation is done, but the fact will remain that it's a pretty weak Shonen manga. The twists were so damn predictable that I ended up hating Denji and Makima the longer it went on. This shouldn't make sense unless it was the author's intention all along to make you hate the two main characters. As for all the side characters, Power and Aki (both of which I disliked initially based on their tropey character designs) are the only 2 side characters with meaningful development in the current 106 chapters released which is just a damn shame.

pretty sure Chainsawman is the only character that can make things disappear. Infact the new chapters are somewhat based on the fact that chainsawmans previous incarnation had eaten MOST of the war devils body causing people to almost forget war.
