i think the young are born into the mid shift of having short attention span with the combination of internet social media where zombie ass ADHD comments are more accepted now and seems to move the herd of young listeners to phase out trendy products and brands at a faster rate where things are easily taken for granted these days and it seems okay for the young to easily forget a two month old songs because of digital convenience with the disposable programming of networks that have the power to constantly change up the focus at any given time. Real music enthusiasts/appreciators will take the time to look at liner notes in gatefolds and analyze the structure of the composition.
