I believe all that strong, independent woman and Sasha fierce stuff is just for show. I think the real her was naive, and let Jay disrespect her numerous times, and she sat right there. And she’s older, wiser, but still chooses to be with him and his mess. She basically confirms this on Lemonade. She was a Teenager, sheltered and didn’t have a lot of life experience when they hooked up (she was 19 and this man was 29). I don’t know this fact for 100 percent, but I think he was her 1st “real boyfriend”, 1st everything, and he took advantage. Her whole grown woman life and experiences are with this man, who mistreated her by cheating, lying and God knows for years. Solange was tired of watching the blatant in their face disrespect. But really that’s her sister’s relationship and it’s up to her what to do. It’s her husband. Let her beat him Solange lol. She’s still with him, it’s her choice
