Caleb's troubles are due to how he was billed. Calebbwas sold as the fix for this team, Patrick Mahomes, the savior of the team. We didn't need the haul cause Caleb's release was gonna fix the line. Poles sold the pick as the one thing that was missing, the piece that would make Chicago a contender. That cannot be denied as the national media was giving Chicago more hype than normal. Caleb is a rookie, and if he was billed as that and not as the one piece then people would show him more grace. Caleb will continually be judged against the hype and his draft position. Am I saying Caleb is a bust? No I think he can be great, but it is hard to develope his greatness behind a bad line. Caleb is a luxury piece being guarded by kindergartens. He is a v10 engine in a Kia... To that point Caleb will be judged, unfairly, based on how he performs behind this trash line. He will be judged by if he is able to carry this team, not manage this team. He will judged based on how he plays through injury, how he puts his body and career on the line. Did he make a nice pass to DJ Moore? Yes! Is winning thay way sustainable? Not at all, sooner or later the body breaks down! I hope Caleb stays healthy and can live up to his billing. I believe he can be great, but his greatness is directly tied to this line. It is directly ties to how much punishment he can take... Good luck young man.
