Every character in Arcane is SO damn well written, and the emotions they managed to show on digitized faces just blows me away, the teeth and lips animation just.... wow. I wonder in what context you mean this because ekko being a character of color is very much a factor in his characterization and style not so much much in the world of arcane but as a piece of media in our world it is definitly a factor. It's very interesting your mentioning this about ekko and not other character of color like Mel who I would argue would fit this comment much better. Like would this type of music make sense for a white character? Not really.

What I'm interpreting you comment as is that 8n the show itself ekko being black is never commented on the make a point and not everyone from the lanes is a person of color or something like that. Which I agree more black characters should be in shows without their race being a huge part of their character but with ekko his style abd context expecially are definitely drawing a parallel between the lanes and impoverished neighborhoods that some of black culture revolves around.
