This was a super informative video. I couldn't find a video on how to *steam* crab legs in a turkey cooker so I'm glad I found yours! Straight to the point, told cooking times (which surprisingly was hard to find, even on regular pot steaming) and it looked delicious!

Thanks Larry I'm so hungry for crab now. If you're in the Chesapeake area old Bay is a must and you can never have too much. It's one of those things where you can feel and taste the soul of a region. Anyone who hasn't used old Bay please give it a try it is a symbol of history and class here.

Reminds me of my grandmothers crab party's when I was little. Some family I never met would dive down from Baltimore and bring a trunk load of crabs with them and the whole family would spend the day at my grandmother's house. I would watch her try to get them to stay in the pot and would be cussing' up a storm at them when they caught her with their claws. The only difference here is you hardly used any Old Bay. She would go through a few of the really big cans of it.

Dang... I have about 25+ food channels I watch, that I will send this post to. My preference, and should be everyone's STEAM everything, and never boil, I personally think boiling takes most of the flavor out, unless your making a soup. I even stem my 10-20 shrimp, after I do as you have.....create a flavored stemage water, yes a new word, and thrust accordingly.....nice sleeves by the way!

Do they really steam through in 15 min?
