The most overlooked, non mentioned aspect of this, is the length. On the debut album this tune was barely over 5 minutes. The epic Alive track clocks in at almost 12 glorious minutes. The drum solo, by Mr. Peter Criss and the infamous interaction between Paul Stanley and the crowd made this band one of the biggest concert draws of the 70's. Listening to this it's no wonder why Paul Stanley has almost no voice left now 😞. Damn it almost seems like he didn't realize his own range.

In 2019, I took my 2 sons who at the time were 19 and 10 to see KISS on the farewell tour and it was a great show. Fortunately, I've seen KISS 2 other times, but it was cool enjoying a KISS extravaganza with my boys.

Kiss are underrated as musicians. The solos aren't cliche rock licks, they always have unique element to them. Gene is underrated on his thunderous ax bass. Gene also has the strongest voice when he sings. They will give any band a run for their money.

For the hardcore kiss fans I know that it's not really what you guys do but if you get a kiss you get a kiss reaction and if it's a song that was recorded by the original lineup try try to use a video with the original lineup. Whoever suggested this specific video Made a mistake. I love the song regardless, But vintage Peter Chris is better than Eric singer and as freely as better than Tommy Thayer anytime
