This song is about heaven, in case you guys wonder. There is nobody like Neal to put words and tones to that message.

Nice to see Neal Morse get some love. I have seen him twice in Nashville and it's one of the most musically impressive things I have ever seen. He played in a church in Nashville right on the Kentucky border, and plays there every year. It's called Morsefest and it's 2 days of him blowing your mind with music and message. Every instrument you hear on the album is on stage and perfectly played. It's really amazing how talented he and the band are!

I would love to see Morsefest. I have all of Neal's solo stuff, Spock's Beard, Transatlantic, Flying Colors, Neal Morse Band -- studio albums and live and some of the inner circle releases. I've only seen Morsefest via dvd.

I have seen these guys live many times including earlier this year. I love everything about them and being the young age of 52, I still 'fanboy' out every time. Their live shows are just awesome and inclusive.

You should watch the Neal Morse Band's video of the song "So Far Gone." It's shot in the studio as they record the song. It's excellent. You get to see them play and they all do separate vocal parts in it. Every member of the band is so talented. Neal's former band Spock's Beard is a great band too with a similar sound.

The drummer you said was amazing is Mike Portnoy from Dream Theater, Transatlantic, Flying Colors, Neal Morse Band, Liquid Tension Experiment, OSI, Metal Allegiance, Avenged Sevenfold, Adrenaline Mob, Winery Dogs, Sons Of Apollo, etc.

You forgot Yellow Matter Custard - I hear a lot of Beatles in Neal's music.
@mikenastasi89278 ай бұрын
@@tixximmi1 Yellow Matter Custard were in the etc reference LOL 😂. I didn't mention the tribute bands he was involved with like RUSH, Led Zeppelin, The Who in addition to YMC. I also didn't include Twisted Sister because he only did the 1 tour & live album/DVD, but no new material. Or John Petrucci's solo album or the 1 album with BigElf. The guy is all over the place.

@@mikenastasi8927 Yeah, thanks, I appreciate it. I have to be careful on these as sometimes when I pick a song by Neal Morse I get a copyright claim and can't get it reacted to. Luckily this one didn't have any licenses attached to it.

Great song….is Mike Portnoy playing drums on this one, or is it an older song?
