Left-handed crochet: How to crochet the magic ring

This video is for left-handed crocheters who want to learn how to crochet the magic ring. This method lets you start a piece in the round with no hole in the middle. I'll show you how to make a magic ring, and also how to start crocheting in the round with this magic ring. The magic ring, or magic loop, is a complicated technique, and you might probably not get it right on the first try or first few tries, so don't get frustrated. The key is paying close attention to not just what your hook is doing, but also the magic loop itself - you need to keep it stable so that it doesn't twist, otherwise the magic part at the end (pulling on the yarn tail) won't work.

Crocheting takes practice. I started off making hats before I upgraded to stuffed animals. You should start with loom knitting though which is the easiest.
