I have seen islanders eating newly sprouted coconuts as well. They don’t have any coconut milk in them and the flesh is softer. But apparently really nice to eat

19:48. Star fruit. Slice it in about 1 cm thick slices. Place single layer on a cookie sheet. Sprinkle just a little sugar on top and freeze. Makes a great tart freezer pop.

I was trying to guess where you were, before reading the video description. I thought Hawaiian Islands, Guam (I lived there as a child), maybe Polynesia, from the volcanic rock & coral. Seeing the guard, I thought perhaps Trinidad. I wasn't sure, from the vegetation. Of all the many possibilities, the Dominican Republic didn't cross my mind. Looks like a beautiful place, thanks for taking us along!

Coconuts don't really like the beach,,they Rot very quick,,,however Almonds do love the beach ,they dry up quick,,that's when they're good to knock open,,dried,,🇱🇨👊👍🖤

I'm from the Caribbean The brown coconuts are fatty and has oil. It's better to drink the green ones on tree or the one that just fallen off. Also you can eat the almond skin if its yellow not green cause its bitter af . I learnt that the hard way.🤣😂😂😃😃🤣
