The pea blooms are so beautiful!!Ties for the tomatoes (that won't cut into the stalks) can be made from old panty hose... I know there must be some of those lying around the homestead.... Hee hee… Lots of mulch helps keep the weeds down... newspaper, old carpet, or cardboard will save you from the endless chore of weeding weeding all the time and muddy feet on rainy days~ :-) LOVE your gardens. Keep the videos coming, you are rockin it! God bless you! You're going to be swimming in tomatoes, son. Try a bazooka on the beetles.

Great job Sarge, nice thought on your extra crops to share. It seems that the more you share the more you have. I enjoy the weekly tours. Take care

Diatomaceous earth for bugs (doesn’t work well when wet)when it’s dry. Same stuff they use in 7dust with out the chemicals

Asshole beetles, love the gardening terminology...LOL. Professional or not you've don a great job, a lot of work but very rewarding. I'd rather give the excess away than lose it too. Stay safe.

Good . I’ve been using the diotemaceous earth around and on the leaves of any plant not about to flower ( bees get affected by it also). I’ll let u know if it helps

DE only works half the time, plus it gets rained on you have to re do it all. You can put it on flowering plants it doesnt harm bees that much. Neem oil is better but put it on early in the morning so its dry when the bees come out because that will kill the bees if they get neem on them. Put it on the plants early that wont happen.

Hey mate, your pepper plants, you need to take any flower buds off, or you will stunt the plant. I know that sounds weird, cuz you want peppers to grow, but you need the roots and plants to be bigger. Believe me you will be thankful you did it. I would say the damage to your beans is a flea beetle. Its hard to know for sure, but from the damage I have seen and because of the plant type, I would say that is your issue. You can look up organic ways to get rid of them. Yer the squash beetle (on your cucumber) all you can do is go out a few times a day and pick them off and squash the damn things. The Broccoli heat in the greenhouse shouldnt stop it growing a head but it my flower quicker (the broccoli heads start flowering if the are not picked). Your peas in the main garden, Im wondering if a bug/grub was munching on the roots, then it turned into what ever beetle it would become. That gave the peas enough time to recover. Just my thoughts.

You might consider the Asian Cucumber. English not so much.
@samstevens78884 жыл бұрын
Hey this comes from an english chick whats wrong with english cucumbers? They have more flavour than the asians and they last longer. The only other cucumbers I grower are the mini muncher.
