Wonderful episode, I love both of your sweaters, absolutely gorgeous, and Maggie's British Robins by Charlotte Stone. I'm knitting her Herding Cats socks now, and I have her first book with so many beautiful patterns. I've also become a fan of Doodle Knits, and just purchased that book as well. It's great fun and all kinds of motifs along with base patterns for hats, socks, mittens, could and scarves. I'm also working my way through Summer Lee's book, The Sock Project, so many patterns so little time.

Thanks for a lovely episode. Great for watching on a cold and dreary day while doing some knitting.. Quote of the day, "If you're knitting Nana Duck, take a close look at her butt." 🦆🤣When we lived in the U.K. I fell hard for British Robins, they are truly adorable birds. I got to meet Kristin Wiola and her daughter who is her business partner, at her new shop in Oslo Norway and I'm excited to knit the Agnes sweater too. I teased her about combining so many yarns in her patterns, she told me she does that to get exactly the colors she wants. We talked about your sweater, Corinne, when I was there too. She's so lovely. I bought her book in Norwegian so she could sign it even though I already had the ebook in English.

When Corinne and Maggie had their Nana Ducks, beak to beak, quick kiss, I actually giggled out loud! So sweet! Also I loves Caitlin's segment about Marie Wallin's Howick Tam in the British Breeds Aran. I knit the Howick Tam in April 2024 over the course of two days and, as always, absolutely love this pattern. Caitlin's swatch in which she's switching out the light colors for the dark colors also is beautiful. I'm looking forward to learning the exact colors Caitlin is using in her second Howick Tam because I also have leftover yarn and will definitely knit up a second version. Thank you SO much!

I love that Caitlin and others show the inside of any colorwork, or any mistakes they made and how to fix them - makes me feel I'm not alone and gives me encouragement to try things out of my comfort zone! I even get ideas looking at their shelves - that glass jar Caitlin has with bits of leftovers is a great idea! And is actually pretty!

AND - yes to Caitlin! I conducted the same experiment with yarn, trying to see how many of the same thing I could make.
