Yeah management told them but not for the reason you Larries think. Management told them because Larry shippers have made them uncomfortable, because even if they look at each other, audience shouts, go nuts and it goes in Larry proof file. It's hypocrite to think that management is so powerless in front of bunch of teenage larries, that their proofs edits, fics are still out there but they suddenly become powerful whenever they deny it, to this date, when their life doesn't depend on such management. And maybe initially the boys never had the idea, as they were young, but after knowing the real situation, being 18+ they realized the need to stop joking about it. Because they constantly denied after a point of time ( late 2011) So Larries should understand this side of of the picture as well and not make claims about it. You can ship them, but it's toxic to claim that they are an actual couple.

i feel like harry and louis definitely had something more than a friendship at some point. there is a known theory that is extremely sad basically they preformed at a gay bar and louis was acting more flamboyant and carefree than he usually was, he was very affectionate towards harry and just looks so happy (some people think he was drunk but he doesnt look like it) i feel like he was just being himself. the next day he was flown out to LA, alone, to visit simon (he tweeted about it) and ever since that day everything was different. whatever conversation they had totally changed him, louis and harry basically seemed to become strangers and anytime they would talk or laugh with each other louis would look up at the people behind the camera almost like he was scared. there is alot more to it than just this

I do believe in larry, and i totally get what you said about (if they had to hide it they would be more careful yk?) and the thing is with larry videos is that it’s mostly younger days before management started taking more control over larry, why I think larry is real is because their were ships about everyone in the band but suddenly when it came to larry it got more serious them having to deny it and what not. When for example in an interview Louis joked about being together with Liam as if it was no big deal but if asked about larry he always denied it straight away. There’s also a video of Harry asking Louis where he wanted to sit and Louis answering “next to you” and then you can hear someone (probably management) saying “you cant sit next to each other”. I totally get your opinion and all but i think that if you saw more of the “iconic” moments and proofs people usually believe in it after. Like with the matching tattoos and lyrics in songs for example in Habit where Louis sings “Come so far from princess park” when princess park is where he lived with Harry😃

They were way more free in the early days. They acted pretty much how they wanted. They got a lot more careful as time went on. Once you see it you can't unsee it. There is so much footage of them on stage being lovey dovey or jealous or changing lyrics and staring at each other. They dropped so many hints. In the beginning Louis was super obvious and almost took delight in how obvious he could be, but he changed so much and became much more circumspect. Which does not mean that their relationship had ended, rather that they knew how much people were looking into it and they needed/had to be more discreet to keep the narrative of the straight boyband. Whatever their status now, they definitely had a thing. They were also the prettiest couple I think I have seen in recent years. Both so gorgeous.

what you said last in the video about hiding it is partly true. Around mid to late 2012 they closeting began for real. Louis got in a "relationship" with Eleanor and they (H&L) became much less affectionate and never talked or interacted with each other ON SCREEN. The narrative their management wanted us to believe was that we had ruined their friendship... But then we got leaked hotel receipts that showed Louis and Harry sharing a hotel room... You should look at the lyrics - that's basically the best proof that they have been in a long term relationship (with ups and downs) and still are :)))

I'm a recent convert, but I am convinced they're together. A lot of “proofs” are just subjective moments that could have many meanings: they’re young, touchy feely by nature, really good friends, joking, playing up the bromance for the camera, etc. But the thing with Larry there are A LOT of moments. Like A LOT. There’s literally hours worth of content of them staring dreamily, caressing, some things that defy description. But these didn't convince me but I found them compelling enough to go on a DEEP dive. What convince me was the more concrete evidence, like their tattoos, Harry basically coming out on multiple occasions, the backstory of the Adore you video. Both their song lyrics but especially Louis' album that speaks specifically to their relationship, ie "princess park" . Even the Rainbow Bondage Bear is pretty convincing if you delve deep enough. Many other things. To your point of not trying to hide it, they were originally promo'd as close bromance, so they could get away with a lot given their ages. But I think when the press started taking it seriously, so did management. If you look at timelines, they get more and more sneaky with caresses. Towards the end they won't really come near each other on stage but serenading if anything gets worse and the eye-effing is still truly epic in several interviews. Most Larries seem to believe that mgmt/label controlled their public image entirely and perhaps the label still has controls limiting what they are allowed to say. SORRY FOR THE BOOK! I went into this fandom when I was 15, and I remember being so obsessed with their relationship being my little queer self. I loved their love and wished for something like it for myself. Now that I’m much older I have gotten less interested in it, but even though I’ve grown out of it for the most part I still genuinely believe that they had something at some point, ESPECIALLY during their first years in the band. I still dabble on them from time to time, but I’m in an adult now and ahh some of these moments are so obvious!!

In my opinion (and I'm an old woman) all 5 boys were close they grew up together ! I found out Harry has a true anxiety problem along with asthma ! At first I thought because Louis was the oldest he felt compelled to look after Harry so to speak alit of the guys had never been away from home so of course they had to lean on each other ! ! The management terribly abused the boys and literally controlled everything about them ! Then I started noticing things myself (is it so terrible for a granny to enjoy their music?) Anyway I noticed several things myself and watching the videos that Harry and Louis became quite closer especially out in public! ! All the guys are great guys and superb musicians I pray all of them are living their best lives where or with whom makes them happy I just want them to be free to just be themselves whatever that may be ! Larry Stylinson has has some good ones. They just totally make me smile! Also the tattoos timeline is good. Listen to the lyrics from many of Louis’ current songs and Harry’s 2nd album. They often echo back and forth. FYI since you love If I Could Fly, Louis wrote a song called Home that’s like a response but it was not included on the album and never released. And then everyone just made the song about both losses, when it took Louis so long to write that song for his mom. No one gave him a choice with his sister’s loss, to write one for her.
