Hello Wayne and thanks again for your videos of the Ecto1. I built this stage yesterday and would like to give others a tip in the comments. You fixed the 6 cables with glue so that they sit correctly. I had another idea: I widened the holes on the left side (where the seat is) a little with tweezers. This way the cables fit all the way through. Then I attached the cables on the other side and pulled the cable ends down on the left. This way the cable bundle is tighter and sits perfectly. Another possibility. Maybe it will help someone?!

Going to need my magnifying glasses for this one Wayne. I love the challenge of getting the cables all neatly routed but the old fingers are not as dexterous as they used to be 😂😂 great video and thanks for the warning about the display base. I will get a planning permission application in tomorrow for the extension I am going to need to house the Ecto-1, plus the Agora builds 😅😅😅

I added a drop of glue on the cables on the interior side. They kept popping out. Going to order ties fron mike lane as mod. Same as Delorean

I suggest sticky tape rather than cable-ties as you can just cut off tape but cable-ties are a sod :)

For the cable ties- I would expect a Mike Lane mod of the mini cable ties similar to the DeLorean's, but in black instead of white...

Exciting video! Question. Are the flex hoses hollow? If so, I'm going to put hobby wire through them to be able to bend them into place. I did that with the spark plug wires on the Delorean and it came out very nice.

They are hollow but sealed at both ends to.make the plugs that go in the holes.

ever since you put that bench seat on the floor panel I thought it was meant to be the front seat. but I'm sure that the two seats coming are not jump seats but full driver and passenger side seats, unless the two individual seats are for the back that is.

why not take and grab the ends that are in the holes from the bottom and pull them tight ?

They have plugs on the ends if you pull them through they just retract back.
