Curious that these grilles weren't in the K.I.T.T.-kit to begin with, because it's the season 1 model! You can tell by the dashboard ( 2 tv's, the voice-box has a red rectangle to signify when K.I.T.T. is talking instead of the equalizer with the three rows of red horizontal bars from season 2 onwards ) and the fact that in the nose, behind those shiny new grills, there are 3 foglights in stead of only 2 ( in later seasons the outer ones were removed! ). Good work by Mike, to help rectify this oversight!

I asked Mike a few weeks ago if he could make some to replace the plastic ones on the Eleanor Mustang. He said he'd get to work on making them, so I'm really looking forward to getting some to improve the look of the Eleanor. Mike does great work! Thanks for sharing Wayne!

I’m going to paint little green dots on the foot pedal 👍🏼 loved season 3 when bonnie came back and it was very moving in the episode where KITT was drowning in that Hazardous waste and Michael couldn’t save him.. that episode was really sad.. I think the most moving of all the kitt’s destructions

While on the subject of Mods and stuff. I have noticed that the model comes with seat belts, but as far as I know from re-watching old episodes K.I.T.T. never had seat belts.

I wonder if Mike Lane is going to go so far as doing super pursuit mode parts? I doubt it because that would require a new bumper as well as custom body panels and trunk. But , wow, would that be awesome.

I agree they are a bit expensive, £29.90 including VAT and postage, but it is, what it is!!! I ordered a set, as they look a lot better with the grills.

Much prefer the season 1 look with the grills and have purchased these from Mike. Don’t like the voice box with the inaccurate two lines on it instead of 3 however have found using a cocktail stick I was able to carefully remove this and paint behind the leftover clear section with clear red. Looks just like the season 1 voice box now.

I have a little problem a screw head has snapped off how do I remove the screw it is awkward to do any advice please

It’s hard. An easy out may help but if it’s too tiny you may have to drill and re tap

It sounds like a moving target with mods for this - considering we know it changed through different series. I seem to remember the voice lights on the screen inside the car changed a lot too. So, whatever 'most accurate' mods you think you're installing, for this specific car that's going to be a moving target :P Unless they've done a disastrously poor job on some of the internal screen displays, I think I'm going to stick with the original DeAgos..I mean "Fan Home" choices on this one. :)

Hoping he does a KARR scanner, if that grill is only season one then the model will be wrong as KITT's voice synthesiser was just a flashing square in that season and not the better looking one later that was introduced with KARR, nerd overload ended now.
