How appropriate. Watching this while an actual Spitfire flies over my house and does circuits over Lee on Solent airfield 😁

Cool vid as always 😎 I have just started to build a Tamiya 1/32 Scale Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IXc. So far the kit looks great. Might send you a picture when completed. Keep up the great work 👍 👏

I've been watching John Mansell build his spitfire, and he's talked about shortening his base as well. I'd be curious to see if that works but, I believe the base is built that size for a reason. The plane is really big and may need that base to support the weight and size. I'm not building this plane but, I'd be careful about modifications, could wind up in a car (or in this case plane) crash. Lol 😆.

Hey Wayne thought you’d get a kick out of this. While talking to a mate on the phone , I heard a single prop aircraft flying over his house in the southern Adelaide Hills. It was a fully restored Spitfire!! How cool is that??

Good video. The size of those motors must mean they are going to be pretty powerful, I am wondering if they are for the landing gear
@WorldofWayneUK3 жыл бұрын
No they are just for controlling the bank and pitch of the plane

How is your blooper reel coming on Wayne, it must be about 7 hours long by now. 😁😁😁
@wonniewarrior3 жыл бұрын
Including all the band-aids section alone would be about 5 hours of it.

I think the bloopers should be called "THE WORLD OF WAYNE WOBBLY BITS".

Why wait for next pack?? U could fit the switches and then affix whole thing to the base! I probably would!😄

I recon fate let you off lightly being only the webcam. Imagine what it would've been like if the work mat had gone over, all them small black screws on the floor.

Great channel, I love all of your builds! Any idea if these will ever be available to your cousins across the pond? I love the Spitfire and need to have this!

Hey just found your channel. How does this hachette company work, you order in stages? Your Bismarck sure is impressive, much love from Canada.
@WorldofWayneUK3 жыл бұрын
The kit is provided to you 4 stages per month. For this build there are 140 stages

What innuendo? You said screw, rim and shaft in the space of a few sentences and still kept it clean.

To damn big I'm looking at making it smaller was just wondering why these companies can't put all motors in one pack to reduce the time I mean one motor and all you do is stick a number on it like cars why can't they send 4 wheels in one go no wonder there expensive models I've nearly finished bismark and am just ahead of you on the spitfire so may not do anymore because of cost any chance you can talk on behalf of you watchers for companies to release in one full pack maybe slite reduction on models
