Disco Pop and Dance with cool bass lines, extensive interesting drum layers which also fill the break between kicks and support the vibe of the song

can you make a video on how to produce ambient indie tracks that don't consist of drums but various synth/string elements and vocal harmonies?

If you use Fl2024 and want to use only white keys, you don't have to pitch whole track. Go to the Piano roll -> Top left corner menu -> View -> Scale Highlight -> Select snap Incoming midi and select the scale of your project (would recommend clicking with RMB so you don't have to reopen whole menu every time). From now on every white key will be a note from selected scale.

Loved this! What guitar plugin did you use?
@theworldsproject11 күн бұрын
Electric Sunburst Deluxe both for the static guitar and one you hear in the final chorus. The former is a muted preset and latter is an open preset.

You're right about it being 5 semitones above C, but you set the root note as G at 1:20. Unless I'm missing something here?
@theworldsproject14 күн бұрын
To be able to hear the note F when hitting a C (which is a +5 semitone change in pitch), we have to set the blue key (FL’s root note) 5 semitones below C. This might seem counterintuitive at first, but if you think about it, or try it in FL, here’s how it works: 1. By default, the blue key in FL is at C. So if you hit a C, you hear a C. 2. Let’s now set the blue key to B (which is a 1 semitone decrease from C). If you press C, you’ll actually hear a C# now (so the pitch increases by 1 semitone). 3. Following that logic, if we want to hear F when pressing C (which is a 5 semitone increase in pitch), we have to lower the blue key by 5 semitones, meaning we arrive at G: C -> B -> A# -> A -> G# -> G. Hope this helps!
