I actually know Pam personally, and I am so glad to see this video. I've heard so many good things about this car and who she sold it to from her and this is such a beautiful tribute to such a gorgeous vehicle. @@thewriter2549 exactly. To find a mach 1 in unrestored condition like that? 40 year's parked in the same spot. I'm a Mustang junkie so to speak. I own an 82 GT that my parent's bought brand new, in July of 82 it was one of the last of the 82s so technically it's an 82 and 1\2. Cause certain parts on it are different from early 82s. But unfortunately it's not a stock one. LONG story on that car. But it was the 1st car my dad taught me how to drive. I was 7 when they got it, and the year after that he would take me to parking lots to learn how to drive. So at 8 year's old in 83 I was driving a 4spd Manuel with him in the passenger seat. But I can't wait to see this car's journey to being new again. Really hope it stays true to stock.

I like the way u washed the car. U took ur time. Not like other KZbinrs, they just pressure wash it and ruining some parts accidentally. Well done 👍
@robboid11 ай бұрын
Yeah, much better to take your time , rubbing all the abrasive dirt around on the paint with a rag. Ever think there is a reason a pressure washer ( touchless) is used so often and why there are touchless car washes that use high pressure water. It doesn't hurt anything but does a much better deep cleaning.

Pam is wonderful. What she is doing with the car is what is most respectful to the history of her husband and the car. How many times have we all seen cars that the owners are letting sit because they supposedly have some sort of sentimental connection to it? And they won’t sell them and they won’t fix them and it always makes me think that there’s nothing less sentimental and respectful to the memories connected to the car than to let it sink into the ground and rot.

Always had an appreciation for old cars, especially Ford's, they're my favorite and consider myself a Ford enthusiast. I don't make enough to aquire anything like this in decent shape, I have owned a few rarities which I loved and restored as best I could slowly, piece by piece, some were pretty far gone. None were my top favorites, but I loved them all because of their uniqueness. Some were cool in ways people didn't even realize. Turning heads with my SHO Taurus's motor sound or cruising in my Thunderbird super coupe, or my 85 Nissan Z31 always put a grin on my face. Was an absolute blast. Really hope he understands what he's been blessed with, wish we could all be so lucky.
