Qué preciosidad... Zahara de la Sierra. Blanco como un ampo de nieve. Luminoso como los cobaltos del cielo de Andalucía.

I want to save up some money & settle in 1 of these quaint villages in Spain or Italy. Top of this list Zahara De La Sierra in Spain & Capri in Italy.

Hi wedigo. odd stop sign, it reads stop at 0:13 into the video. Being in Spain I thought that it would read Alto. I saw a video of a series called River monsters and Jeremy Wade the host caught huge catfish weighing as much as 150,LB I believe and he caught them in Spain in a reservoir. I notice that Ed calls you Wedigo pronounced with a W, you are from Europe right? would you pronounce it with a V Vedigo if European? Zahara is a cool town for sure. Last drop a doozy, LOL! I haven't heard that phrase in a while. I like the still images Herr Watson because they capture a moment. thumbs up on for a cool vid..

Hi Ivan. Thanks for the comments. Yes, my name should be pronounced with a "v" sound but most people lapse into saying the heavy "W" sound for my name. Yes, I am German born, German mother, lived there from the time I was born until 10 years of age. Spoke only German there, had to learn English when I came here to the U.S. Glad you enjoy the still photos also - I agree, you can really stare at them and see lots of detail that you might not catch at first.

What gps did you Use?

For this it was "TomTom" and it was pretty good; now we just use the iPhone Google Maps application and that works very good as well (and free).

Thanks guys..am bringing my gps from home and bought the Spain maps on amazon. Also trying to download google maps for that area. Just in case. Still deciding whether to go to Zahara.. seems pretty scary. Might have enough with Ronda and Arcos. Going solo, so ...

@@jesspeterson1176 Wanted to go to Arcos but didn't have time. You'll fall in love with Ronda (I've got some videos up of that too). Zahara was on the way, so we decided to stop and did a very short, but fun and nice visit. That area is high up in the mountains, with lots of winding roads and periods of isolation but worth the drive. Grazalema National Park is there and some of the views from up there are breathtaking. Wouldn't have missed it for the world...have vids of that too. You'd probably like Grazalema the town much better than Zahara....I did. Nice to walk around in, spent all afternoon there. Check out my video..LOL Have fun on your trip - hope to see your videos up when you get back. I've subscribed to you.

Ma trying not to pack too much into my 3 week road trip, so that’s how I found your videos. Also want to see Setenil de las bodegas, nearish Zahara, and decided I’d prefer just to see that Pueblo. On my way from Ronda to Arcos I was going to check out Grazalema. Saw your video of Grazalema park, and decided that’s a good choice for me, so thank you,,, 😁 I’ve been crossing off places after looking at pics and videos. Anyway... I don’t usually take many videos, since it’s kinda hard when you’re driving solo. Plus it eats up so much memory. Though I am bringing a slew of memory cards. Subscribed to you too. Maybe I’ll do a video compilation of photos. Cheers.
