If you grab enmity he won't cast Charybdis. That's why getting enmity is so vital on Extremoth because his tornadoes are cast way faster with little time to flash him out of it, so enmity-grabbing is the only reliable way to avoid all those damn tornadoes. He's tough even for a MR hunter, run him with at least one other MR hunter who knows his moves and you should be able to pull it off without running the clock.

Apparently Stickyspam makes him easy. I still have Nightmares of the Tornados. They last to long, he cast them to fast and he can summon to many of them. There sould be a Limit and a Cooldown between Casts.

Omg the next one is ancient Leshen, good luck with that one, even with a squad that thing still gave me nightmares for days :'v Oh some tips for people still struggling with extrememoth even in a squad. Even in a squad with four people from master rank, killing Extrememoth was a nightmare, it only worked with mine cause we had a healer(that was not corner healing, do not corner heal on a extrememoth fight) and I did the mount Behemot 2 times. If you have a squad to fight this thing, try to mount him, he stops casting his attacks, giving more openings for the rest of the team to do dps, stay put, dont use the knife, just hold onto the mount as long as you can, with master rank weapons eventually he'll just topple at the end, giving a few more seconds to do dps. And do not invest only on dps skills, having at least health boost, or divine blessing means the healer spends less time helping you and more time attacking.

@@niklasmobius831 That with master rank equipement, all 4 people in my squad had it. Of course if you decide to use sticky instead it would be easier, however practice it with a easier monster, theres a proper distance you can have from the monster before the ammo wont work, so learn those things before using it. One of my mistakes was begin too far from the monster, ranged weapons have a limit on how far you can be. You need to be aggresive with it, cause ranged players take more damage, which means you rarely can afford to get hit, if you cant predict were his attacks will land, and you notice you are not stunning him enought, dont use it, try a different strategy. Also as far as I know, while you can use the cluch claw, you cannot wall bang it, so avoid using it as much as you can, its a waste of time and a high risk, his pin is the worst in this battle since it has bleed damage. As much as iceborne mechanics are great, it wont help much in this boss aside from the cluch claws combos your weapon may have.

I decided to look up again his health so people can have an ideda of how much damage you need to do, Extrememoth has 51,800 HP. Like to put in perspective Safi'jivva has 40,000. The only monsters I could find with Higher hp are Alatreon (52,500 in solo, Kulve master Rank version(54,000 hp solo) and Ancient Leshen with 67,500 hp(which by the way is also cancer to fight, I dont miss it :'v)

Hindsight 20/20 but if the behemoth has enmity he can't summon the tornados which makes the fight infinitely easier. So this needs to be a priority Now you may be asking yourself how do you get enmity fast? Its simple do the softening attack on the head 2 or 3 times, from what I can tell its based on the number of hits not the amount of damage. Yes I know he mentions enmity is important at around the 15 minute mark shhh
