Its amazing how we are literally witnessing a transition right before our eyes. Ace, for me, is the old school/OG COD content creator. He was TDG before he is who he is known to be now. Even now, he caters more so towards the older players i feel. Its like how we have 3 channels of the news. One caters towards the boomers, one completely for conservatives, and the other for liberals and more so the middle age crowds. I still rather turn into his video and data than TDG, and thats nothing against him.

Also important to mention that the FOV Scale helps to combat Motion Sickness for those who can't properly play First Person Shooters, so bumping it upwards helps alleviate some of the issues with that if you do feel dizzy very often when playing FPS games. (And you should also see a doctor if you don't know you have Motion Sickness but you experience discomfort while playing these games). And, I think the FOV amount should be related to your distance in regards to your monitor/TV screen as - I'm taking this from Sim Racing - too wide FOV while too far from the screen will skew your perspective and it will harm your experience as you won't be able to pick up targets and identify spots and the same logic applies the other way around. The rule of thumb is to have a Wider FOV when looking closer to your screen and a Narrower FOV when looking far back. Take into account also the SIZE of the screen, so use wider FOVs on bigger screens as well.

I used to crank up the FOV to the max because every one told it was the best way to play, but I felt that my gunplay was very inconsistent and sometimes I just couldn't track targets that were not that far away. Once I dialed down the FOV to a comfortable one to my monitor settings, all of a sudden I felt way more comfortable with that. Of course, I would never use Sim Racing like FOVs lmao, but definitely this tip helped me set it up correctly.

On demand texture streaming can also increase packet burst if you don't have great internet. If you get a lot of packet burst I recommend turning off that setting

You just need a decent router, wired connection and performance-wise network settings. Texture streaming uses TCP whilst multiplayer protocol uses UDP. Packet burst is a UDP issue.

@@vd2130 A lot of players that I know are on wifi unfortunately. That is interesting that they don't use the same protocol, but wouldn't the combination of texture streaming + multiplayer still use the same bandwidth regardless of protocol? Sorry, been a couple years since I had a networking class

I've tried it in the past, but I don't recommend double tap because if you're switching between hip fire and ads for a close range fight and you're near a mounting spot it really messes up everything, obv that's only my personal opinion

Good video Ace, I would recommend turning your L2/R2 deadzones to 0, however. There is literally no negative to doing so, just costing yourself unnecessary millisecond/s of reaction time for it to register trigger input. Unless of course you have a habit of squeezing triggers in a little bit naturally or by accident ect.

I feel like my cross hairs all over the place , as if my aim in on a very loose string.. so when I turn it’s slow and then speeds up out of no where on a. 6 6 .. and when I aim at people it’s not even close .. like my arms are on A swing .. and the setting this year is just way to Dramatic to pinpoint what the issue is for me

Sounds like acceleration (or as I think CoD calls it: Aim Response Curve Type). Though, I don’t think this CoD has it any different from past ones. Maybe your controller is kicking the bucket? Otherwise, test out the options for that setting and see if any helps.

P.s. I do not understand why every single new COD is messing with the aim, curve, aim assist nowadays. Every game is wildly different. Esp with cold war in the beta I HATED how it felt and they wouldn't even allow for linear I use linear curve so for me generally it's easier to adapt my settings to a new cod. But I hate that COD does not have uniform soldier aiming from BF on console. On pc they have aiming coefficient which does the same thing but for some dumb reason on console they do not allow for it. Its the best innovation in console shooters ffs

Vanguard has a lot of multiplayer maps this time so there is lots of content and from what I’ve seen , it plays like a hybrid of mw and cw, so yeah it’s worth it , the only problem I have with the game is disbanding lobbies , otherwise it’s solid
