I have been drooling over this statue since I saw the initial, unpainted version at a show overseas. It should be a grail for anyone's collection. Every part of this works. The switch outs, pose, face sculpts and base are just badass. I am waiting for them to announce an Iron Man to go with Cap and Thor.

Totally agree, my one complaint day 1 when he was arriving in collectors hands was the skin color, the Norse God needed to be more pale. You're always honest af with the reviews 👍🏻👏👏

My favorite piece on their site would be XM's Batman Sanity color diorama. Seeing footage of it at conventions dragged me back into the unending battle against the armies of too little money and too little space that is the world of pop culture statue collecting.

Fun review! I’ve loved this Thor since I first saw it but bought the Modern Thor vs the Destroyer so I couldn’t budget buying him too. It’s is my favorite piece on Spec Fiction’s site so I would treasure it if I was lucky enough to win it!! Keep up the great work and the Toddfather rules!

My favorite one is actually a new piece that just went up for pre order on the spec fiction website: the 1/4 scale Lobo on his bike. Bad ass! It has a low ES, an assortment of different switch-outs and the concept and design is just absolutely stunning. Definitely going to be an excellent addition to any collection!

This Thor statue is huge and amazing and way out of my budget. My wallet screams when I just look at my favorite statue on Spec Fiction's website. I have always been a fan of the Thundercats and I love the Iron Studios Lion-O and Snarf statue.

The statue is amazing. I like him more with the helmet without the beard and just the hammer. Mjolnir looks great with the inscription. Def cool you can switch it up. I’ve been a Thor fan since I was a kid reading Walt Simonson’s run monthly. You’re a lucky man to get and review these.

Awesome!!! Thor is one of my favorite characters. I have always liked the big boys. Hulk is number 1 for me. From Spec Fiction, I have XM Studios Planet/King Hulk, Thor on Destroyer, and Captain America, with Queens Studios Green Scar, Hulkbuster and Ironman ordered. This Thor would definitely add to the collection.

I was supposed to do a lil Business with Todd, on a small project with him needing an airbrush specialist. It was a trial base that he dropped the ball on .. for whatever reason he did I don’t hold a grudge . He was real respectful when I use to talk to him on the phone, he was a very busy man he told me all the things he was trying to do to advance his site and etc. I see how much it’s changed good stuff. There’s a lot of badass statues but the first one I saw I want is “DARK KNIGHTS DEATH METAL ROBIN KING STATUE” to add to the “Batman who Laughs statue “ But that Thor is badass too, it be nice for anyone even if they didn’t care for the whole statue collection scene; I guarantee they would have to give respect to something like this it’s presence is just out there.. Good stuff Mr.X I seen “Gem Mint” do an unboxing of this . In comparison of the videos people might not understand how big this statue is even though u stated 1/3 scale… Whoever wins this damn lucky much respect

Bilbo Baggins in Back End is my favorite one in SPEC. I think this Thor in 1/3 scale need a rooted hair to look good, the sculpted hair in 1/3 just made him looked like a toy, the base is better than the statue itself which sounds weird haha

best statues on Spec have to be the XM Iron Spidey and the new XM Ghost rider.... both epic and unbelievable pieces. I stay in Australia and will be very happy to pay for shipping for this huge epic Thor. Have dealt with Spec fiction a few times and Todd is very cool. Congrats to who ever wins this beast

That is a pretty good question... Spec Fiction is actually the first website I bought a 1/4 scale from. Since then I became addicted to the hobby. That website as been huge in my life just for the fact that it got me into this community. There is so many awsome statues on the website it is indeed crazy. But I think I would love to have the Sandman from XM that they have on the site. I've got Black Cat and Spidey from that line and I need to continue getting the rest lol

I love the beardless Thor head, but that bearded Thor just looks weird to me. I love everything about the body sculpt aside from the veins as you mentioned. My favorite statue on Specfiction is the Gambit XM statue. It's been sold out forever, but I keep going back to check stock. His face looks a little weird, but something about the statue keeps bringing me back. It helps that Gambit is my favorite X-Man, I suppose.

Current favorite statue on the Spec Fiction shop is the 1/4 Scale Apocalypse by XM Studios. Out of the older pieces currently available though i'd say the Spider-man 2099 by XM as well. Good Luck everyone.
