They Absolutely DESTROYED The Tech Terror... (Bloons TD 6)

The Tech Terror in Bloons TD 6 is one of the best towers for the money, and Ninja Kiwi decided it's time to do something about that by increasing its price. By a lot. So is it still as good of a choice as it previously was in BTD6?

The price nerf was expected but honestly, it's not that big of a deal I feel like. Actually expecting more nerfs to the tier 3 in the next update as crazy as that might sound.

Honestly i basically never upgrade to T4s for my supers ever. Only ever for bosses and what not. So this doesn't really affect me since i stop at the robo monkey and spend the rest of the money on more robos or other support

When you moved Psi outside of the Energizer's range I was like "NOOO THE XP BUFF ONLY HAPPENS WHEN THEY'RE IN RANGE" so thank you for realizing your mistake

When you die and retry last round, the counting that checks for crit abilities will go back to 0, meaning that you can use the 1st and 2nd on one round then after dying to the next, you'll need to use another 2 before getting the crit ability. And yeah 12:34 was a crit.

Idk about it being 25k but I'd expect the cost of a cheaper 5th tier to solo the mid game! They're nerfing towers that are in a good place and buffing pointless towers rather than addressing weaker less used ones.

Tech terror was ranked S tier by the btd6 index before the nerf, since it has a very strong main attack and a limited range tsar ability. It used to easily outlast any other tower in its price range and still outcompetes other tier 5s because it doesn't fall off lategame unlike most of them

The Robo and Tech Terror nerfs were needed, Robo spam with Glue storm or Carpet of Spikes was busted and so was Tech Terror. What's funny is that Aircraft carrier has started to replace Robo in the meta.

Bloons Tower Defense 6 is very well balanced. Almost all heroes are excellent in some situation.

I assumed the worst but it seems they nerfed the anti-bloon more than anything (the price increase of the tech terror means it would take longer to get to the ab).

Anti bloon got cheaper to compensate for the robo and tech terror nerfs. I think the upgrade is $10k cheaper, so if anything it's slightly cheaper overall, only a nerf for the tier 3 and 4

On scrapyard the 0-5-2 Tech Terror plus Sauda was a super easy two tower chimps that also got 2 mega pops. Just putting the super on the middle crate and sauda in the crook just under the left circle. This has either become impossible, or a lot harder with the new robo/tech/anti bloon.

They are definitely hitting this tower again in the next update, it scales way to well with buffs, but I do hope we can see that price reduced just a little.

Super Range price increased from $1000 to $1500. Epic Range price increased from $1400 to $1900. Between 1st-4th tier, the cost increase was $8400. Middle super was showing up as one of the better towers at Tier 4 compared with other options at its price but only when the ability was used frequently and could be used efficiently. There were/are towers that require no ability usage and have as much or more popping power for their cost...pre-nerf. Bad change.
