That memory thing in the intro happened to me once. It was just the faintest echo of the sensation "hearing something" at first, not even actually remembering hearing anything. Like my ears were activated with no information for what they were holding. It was really unsettling to have a memory that I could "remember" but was unable to place the information for, so I sat for a while, retracing what I was thinking about that led me to remembering whatever it was to try and gather bits and pieces of whatever I had forgotten. Most of the time, I would either not remember anything, or simply repeat that strange, hollow, nothing remembrance that barely felt like anything, but eventually some details started coming back to me. It kind of seemed like a voice... It felt like there was a kind of stern-ness to it... It seemed like there was a lot of emotion involved... ...I was really struggling to piece much more than that together, but I had remembered enough to be really invested in figuring out whatever this dreg of a memory was. The fact that I had caught something on the edge of being forgotten completely was kind of incredible and interesting. So I sat there in my room, lying in my bed for about 2 hours running these thoughts back and forth in my head, trying to see if anything else would resurface. At this point, I had to just see what it was I was thinking about out of sheer curiosity alone. and then it hit me. after thinking about this for as long as I had been, the pieces randomly jumbled together and fell into place. and I remembered what I was hearing in my head. It was a cutscene from a Wii game my siblings had been playing. I spent all that time remembering a single, off-handed line from the end of a mediocre video game, Sonic and the Secret Rings. Specifically, it was the bit where the Erazor Djinn has just lost and is getting blasted. "My body...My body is-AAAGGGHHHHH" ... That's it. Some random moment from years prior that was about to be lost in the sea of subconsciousness that happened to have caught my attention and I forcibly dragged to the surface like a rotting old boot that was about to completely decay into nothing. You can look the cutscene up on youtube if you want, something like "Erazor Djinn defeat cutscene". It's nothing special. But anyone that's read this far has a feel for what happened. Spend 3 million units of effort finding some useless conclusion simply because there was something to investigate. Moral of the story is: Don't get baited into remembering vague, almost evaporated memories. They weren't substantial enough to hold themselves together in the first place, they're almost definitely not worth your time.

For some reason I started laughing hysterically at the term, "Dev path," despite the fact that I've heard it so often. It truly dawned on me that developers are willing to add additional pathways that lead straight to the conclusion of their products, AND they put in the effort to hide their pathways from the eyes of the public! It's so absurd, and foolhardy, I couldn't help but laugh at the thought. Rest assured my next level will have multiple developer pathways, all of them nearly impossible to locate!
