You miss out on the experience yourself. By watching other people play these games you don't get enveloped as much as you would if you were playing the game, so you get a bit of an experience but not the same experience you would get if you were playing the game. I recommend you play some of these games yourself. It's like watching rich people on youtube, you can make your life a little more fulfilling but instead you decide to enjoy someone else's Rich wealthy life which inevitably leads to anxiety and depression for the individual watching, as they slowly realize they will never have that because they don't have the drive to get that.

Watching someone who is better at you at something or has access to something you don't have, in this case a PC, is not only valuable but entertaining. I could go out and play football OR because I don't have access to a team to play on anymore I watch the pros. Same applies here. I could go out and buy a PC and get this game(note I have no interest in actually playing this game, not really my style of game) and have fun doing so MAYBE OR I can just enjoy the video and know that I will enjoy it because I always enjoy igps vids.

You would gain friendships, you would challenge yourself, overall simply being active and engaging in social behavior makes a human being significantly more happy than simply staring at a screen. Now of course this doesn't mean you can't have fun watching a football game with your friends or by yourself. I also enjoy watching igp and other individuals play various games. Life is about experience, and experiencing involving all of your sensory organs on a nice sunny day out with the boys or out with the girls sharing stories and laughs is always going to be better than sitting in the living room watching a screen.

Seriously it's such a fucking good mod. A lot of hours of content! It's the perfect intro to Stalker in 2021 imo. With a couple of mods (like stuff that basically mimic Tarkov animations), it's basically brought right up to modern standards. The only thing that really feels dated is the map load zones. The most immersive and intense way to play (imo) is with limited lives, or even one life Ironman on Azazel mode. That makes it such an insanely tense experience. There's nothing like getting hunted by a Bloodsucker or Chimera when you know you'll lose all of your progress if you die
