@@cobyiii no not really the same thing let me explain a werewolf or lycanthrope is half man half wolf who turns at the full moon or at will. 50%man 50% wolf so he would stand upright on two legs but have claws fangs and look like the mix of a wolf and a man. Werewolf’s are normally seen as Wild untamed most werewolf’s are said to be not in control of their minds they have the intelligence of a man without the direct consciousness but the wild instincts of the wolf. Someone who turns into a normal ass wolf or a slightly larger one is a shapeshifter. a werewolf is what you get if you got stuck halfway through the transformation of turning from a man to a wolf. Dracula is a shapeshifter through magic he can take the shape of many creatures and even things such as fog/mist. When he does take the shape of a wolf or bat he is fully conscious fully in control self aware. In the lore he is known for his mastery of magic and is extremely powerful. So in conclusion he is a vampire who has master magic and can shape shift into many forms including that of a normal wolf but he is Not a werewolf.
