This addon was just released 1.5 months ago and the creator Stalosir is still trying to learn to make mods so lets make sure we support & encourage them in hopes this can become an even cooler addon with tons of functionality! My main goal with these videos is always just to feature & bring attention to lesser known/new addons so Create can continue to grow 😊

Has to be said that most create addons (tfmg, diesel generators, and even create itself, looks at you steam engines) is distinctly lacking in noise. A create period factory would have been incredibly loud. Still waiting on the create: Osha violations addon

4:18 thats what the crafting covers are for. If its a static recipe (meaning thats all that is going to be made at that crafter) use a cover then you dont need redstone signal to craft.

YES! I drive a C8 Z06 and just had it in for service due to a transmission CEL at 7k miles 😭 idk how they can be so bad! It’s the only thing I’m worried about with the entire car.

This definitely seems like a good foundation, but I'd love to see some form of upkeep for balance. Maybe certain parts (not the most expensive 2) have a durability so there is actually a reason to automate the crafting of those parts. Also some modularity and customization. Could take inspiration from Vanilla Shields and use banners to add decals to some parts. And then have some parts with different tiers so you can get faster carts as you progress, and then you can display your earlier models in a car show. Maybe different wheels do better on different terrains. Like the base wheels are good for stone based terrains, then maybe some gear wheels that drive through dirt and sand better, and some waterwheel wheels that let you drive on water. This way you're incentivized for making roads that best suit your kart. And then maybe different exhausts that have effects like particles or different sounds. They could even do a really annoying one that includes goat horns so it's really loud.

@alguienmasdelmonton711 both of those seem good for big custom multiblock contraptions, which definitely has it's place, but they're VERY different than this foundation. Those are big, clunky, machines with stiff controls. Yes, of course, they have unlimited modularity, but even at their most absolutely compact, they'd still dwarf these go-karts with no where near the same level intricate detail. The go-karts on the other hand are small, self contained objects, with what appear to be very smooth controls. Yeah, it doesn't currently have really any modularity, but it has endless room for growth. Out of the 3, this is the one that I'm most interested in by far, and I'd love to see it expand to be something truly in depth without losing touch with these roots. Again, those mods you suggested definitely have a place (I saw someone use Offroad to make an interesting tractor drone controled by a computer mod instead of the usual either hidden train tracks or eyesore minecart tracks) it's just a different place than the niche this mod is attempting to fill

I think its so expensive, because it looks like an alternative to the horses, the only thing it doesn't do is jump. Seems fair to me, while you cant jump, the Kart will not wander off when you get off it.

There are definitely some super cool options out there right now for making all kinds of vehicles with Create, which is great! I dont necessarily think this addon is better or worse than those, my main goal was just to showcase the awesome work a community member did and hopefully the addon grows into something even cooler in the future :)

4:10 You use a "item cover" item to fill that slot, making it act like an empty slot but still automatically starting the craft. It'll stay in, even after starting the crafting process, until you take it out. It's also required to automate buckets.

Yea I definitely think it could use some balancing by at least adding fuel consumption since right now it seems pretty overpowered. It could be cool to give it modular options and let you add a fluid tank that can have lava pumped in or something.

You use four mechanical crafters, and you put a crafter cover on one of them. Putting the cover makes it skip over that spot, you can also use this for making stuff like buckets.

I mean, I'd automate this in survival, but I'd also be using other mods in the build. Probably a hypercube for each component then some logistics mod to move completed components to the assembly line. Definitely some form of power gen to use electric motors.
