For anyone wanting to avoid the hunts here are the two methods I used: the one where they left the outside ones for last. Or have a tier 3 crucifix and place it in the ghost room and one outside of it. Warning for the second one: ITS GLITCHY ON WORKING FOR THE FIRST TIME!

What me and my friends did for this was we had one person shoot all the snowmen and find the bone while the others looked for the ghost. Then once they’d scanned every room, if they couldn’t find one another person would go check all the rooms to get fresh eyes on it. We’d alternate roles every map so everyone got to shoot some. Pretty fun! (Although two of us are really fast at investigating specifically when we worked together so we kept finding the ghost before the third would be done shooting even though they did it consistently faster than the rest of us)

Canadian Here, I've never herd of the Christmas pickle lol (which is a surprise living in one of my most German cities in all of Canada) But something I know most Canadians have on Christmas but most Americans don't are Christmas Crackers. They are not for eating lol They are little "bang" toy's. Shaped kind of like a two sided wrapped sweet, you pull on each end at the same time, it makes a loud bang noise and it has a little crappy paper crow, a little toy ( often themed for the kind of box of 12 you bought) inside. We bring them out for Christmas and sometimes New Years as well.
