Important note - you can also place monorail bogeys on the *bottom* of monorail tracks for a suspended monorail!

You missed that you can now disassemble and reassemble trains via a deployer with a wrench (input by hopper etc.) clicking on the train station block!!!! This update is actually really hype

I took a look at the train coupler’s description (I haven’t downloaded the mod yet so I am yet to try this), and from what I gather, you bind it to a track like a station, signal, etc, and then you scroll on it with a wrench to extend the tracks it can reach. Inputting a redstone signal to the coupler while the front of one train and the back of another are both in the coupler’s selected track will bind the trains together. You can also place stations, signals, etc in the same place.

The coupler is seriously amazing On the fly decoupling and switching train cars and everything. The thing has 3 modes, coupling, decoupling, and both at once, doing either depending on what the situation is. You set the distance in the block menu, and it shows two points on the track. Ideally you place train stations at exactly those points too, then drive to the train stations with two trains, and couple them together with a redstone signal to the coupler

@@Pyracyntrix imagine you have a train car that has a big drill for drilling tunnels through a mountain. You'll only need it when you lay new tracks. Now imagine you have your personal train (that you could call with the whistle) that you use to get around places and such. But instead of hauling the drill car with you at all times, you could use the coupler to leave the drill car in a garage until you need it, and then you can easily reattach it

the open left doors/right doors feature is actually very useful for when you want to make some realistic passenger trains with doors on both sides, to only open doors on one side and not both. especially useful when you make 2 types of train stations where type one has the platform between the tracks, and type 2 has the platforms left and right of the tracks

I got some problems with using NTL alongside SnR, but since NTL is only required server-side it works fine when having normal create on the client (except that you have to ignore the warnings, just click)

Train couplers work if a train has multiple cars to it. You place the coupler on the track that the first wheel is on, then with a redstone signal, the train will detach the car

Yea but they better add propriate banking and way to have more control over the locational and angular position of the track in 3D space so that we can build smooth rides. Also they better add a good physics engine for the train to accelerate and decelerate accordingly to gravity and also add like lift hills, launch systems, a way to make block sections that we can operate multiple trains with, a bunch of safety features.. There are lots of things going on, on irl roller coasters. If they pull it off tho, maybe they can also add somewhat of a G tolerance bar for survival mode so when you pull high G forces it can give you blindness or darkness potion effect

this is. insane. the past few months have turned into the best minecraft modding era yet. create with its machines and trains, that one new high detail wither storm mod (btw you should try it out), a mod where you can go to space, and now monorails?? what next? a mod with realistic asteorid impacts? a mod that adds gaming computers? crazy people out there doing their best to make the best mods 🗿

To be fair, some of these mods already existed (immersive railroading, advances rocketry, other specific techmods, etc.) But what I like about create is the "Minecrafty" feel it gives. It also adds advanced rocketry but for trains basically which is very cool

@@slicepie410 well immersive railroading's latest mc version is 1.16.5 and not 1.19.2 so create is a good replacement. also you literally can design your completely own trains without having to choose from premade models like in immersive railroading
