Pandemic Really Effected The Finale They had bigger plans for it. Jensan Is the one sold me on it, His goodbye was very strong and so sancerly acted I could Feel his Emotion in the performance

seems silly to people looking in from the outside.i have been watching supernatural for 15 years strait.i live alone and dont have much family left.i waited every week for a new episode to come along and its really hard saying farewell to sam and dean and all the other cast that left us over the years.none of us know jensen and jared in real life but it hurts just the same seeing the end of supernatural.in my depressed life i just want to say thanks to the entire supernatural crew for giving me a smile once a week when so much of the rest of it has been sad.thank you jensen and jared.you will remain in our hearts until our last day.

Hey kid, it’s all going to be okay. I’ve heard lots of mixed feelings about this finale, most of it all aimed at Dean’s early death. But try to remember what Dean used to always say: there’s only one way that this ends. He always had it in his mind that he’d go out fighting, and he already has (repeatedly). I’m just saying, that he was ready to go first. I too am happy for Sam, and very much hope that that was Eileen he married.

I actually don't mind that we didn't see Cas. To me Cas died protecting the people he loved, he allowed himself true happiness, and he followed through on the deal he made. His story ended perfectly for me. The mention of him being around was enough for me to know they'll all see each other again and I'm okay with that. Jim Beaver as our Bobby was the only person I had on my list. He had the only unanswered story because we never knew what happened to him after being thrown into heaven lockdown. And as much as I know what Cas means to us and the boys, Bobby literally raised those boys and he's legitimately the only reason they had any sense of stability. I am on the firm ground that Bobby is the most influential person in their lives. I do wish they left his name off the credits because I didn't know he'd be back. Plus, they've made it clear they want to do something in the future, probably a movie so we'll see Cas again. Bobby was the question we needed answered and if I had to choose, it was always going to be Bobby for me. They could have done both, but I think Bobby deserved to have that moment alone. Of course, you can feel how you feel! Opinions, as long as their unharmful are always allowed! ❤️

That is a great way to put it. I knew Jim would be in the episode, but I figured it be the other Bobby and it was nice to see the real Bobby. I loved that he was the one to great Dean when he came to heaven. You are right about Bobby being influential to the boys. I forgot that Bobby was locked up in heavens jail, so it’s nice that was answered as well. I’ve had time to process now and I’m still between liking the episode and not liking it, but Bobby being there was one part i loved.

@@MeghansReactions I'll always land on the side of liking it because even though it isn't the best finale, it feels right. Chuck isn't interfering with their lives anymore so every choice they made was their own and that's so damn important. Yes, Dean died in an undramatic fashion, but without Chuck's influence he would have died a long ass time ago probably just as undramatically. Plus, it was a nice inverse of season 5's ending. Dean always said he'd die on the job and that's what happened, but now it was on his terms, with the chance to say goodbye and for Sam to truly accept that and give him the peace he needed was absolutely beautiful. I don't think it was perfect, it has big flaws, BUT it still feels right and that's all I needed.

I cried too, Meghan. What irony that Sam dies in season 5, Dean lives a normal life. But season 15, Dean dies and Sam lives a normal life. “I love you so much... my baby brother”😭💔👊🏾

Dean did die in a way that relates to the show, just not the “big bad.” He died saving people and hunting things. The two little kids were saved. But they were just living their lives, not as part of Chuck’s story, so the mundane thing like a spike/rebar got him. No more god luck to save the day since Jack said he was staying hands off.

Okay I understand that. I was just going by what Dean said. He knew how he was going out by the barrel of a gun or a blaze of glory. I really prepared for that death at all. I knew the two would die, but didn’t think it be that soon. It really threw me for a loop.

I only watched this finale for the first time on Saturday, but the ending for me was perfect. I know it has received mixed feelings but personally I loved it. As for Dean, I don't think it really mattered how or where he died, more that he was free from Chuck's puppet strings and he accepted his fate. That was the whole point of it, in my interpretation at least. Also, can I just acknowledge how absolutely perfect the music choices were in this episode? From a TV show that never failed with its musical moments, this was the icing on the cake. Brothers In Arms absolutely crushed me and I'd just about pulled myself together when Carry On Wayward Son started. Just amazing.

In my opinion they have to kill Dean because otherwise Sam would end to always choose his brother and haven't a life of his own (terrible english but i couldn't find the right words. I hope you can understand what i meen). This way, after a period of grieving, he moved on and find his way to live. And, btw, i love the songs choice they made.

Someone in another reaction video said the guy laughing in the background when Sam pied Dean was Robert Singer. They said there were a lot of easter eggs in this episode to look out for. I think I've spotted a lot since my first viewing and then while watching reaction vids.

I'm not going after ya I swear. Ya just kept mentioning it so much. Dean said he'd 'die at the edge of a blade or the barrel of a gun' so he literally did. But they had no safety net anymore. This end sadly made sense though I would have loved Dean to have had his normal life. He did deserve it. From the beginning they should have died more times than we could count, so....they finally did. I love Cas and Dean's relationship, but this episode was clearly not about that. This was about the beginning, and having the end be about that is everything.

It was obvious Dean was going to die a hunter’s death, while Sam went on to live out his life. Also, the reason they couldn’t get Cass or Jack back is because of Covid. They got the ending they could do with such restrictions. It was the most logical ending for the show, because no one lives forever, and they got the ending they were fit for.

I was trying to explain the Covid reason, but the more I hear the more I disagree with it. Alex who play Jack was already in Canada for episode 15x19 so he could have been in the finale. They also brought Mark back for 15x19, so they could have brought Misha back for the finale. Yea they had restrictions, but there was other things that could be done as well. I don’t mind that Dean died or that Sam lived his life, I’m just not okay with how they went about killing Dean. I just feel they are using Covid as an excuse to cover for the bad ending they made. (That’s my opinion.)

I'm a casual fan and I bawled through the second half of the episode I expected it to be just like the beginning of the episode so I didn't have tissues. I wasn't ready though I think I always felt Dean was going to die in the end

My heart is still broken and it's been 2 weeks now. I wanted so badly too say goodbye too the Guys in May but Covid took that away and then left thinking will ever get a ending too the show and now that it's past and the show is over I do think it was a great ending but I so wanted them too go out together so badly and yes Dean's death pretty lame I just sat there screaming FU too the screen. What was heartbreaking the most was seeing Sam without Dean but I was happy too see he moved out with a kid and a wife and got on with a good life That's what Dean wanted for Sam. Seeing bobby was great and Happy jack did get Cas out but not seeing them was ok by me Like some one said it started with Sam and Dean and it had too end with just Sam and Dean in heaven together it may have taking Sam longer but there both there. I started watching this in 2010 and my heart will be forever too this show and I am proud of being apart of the SPNFAM.

Great reaction to an emotional finale. However, dare I say, Castiel should not have been in this and I'm happy he wasn't. It started with Sam and Dean and ended with Sam and Dean. Like it should have.

I think i liked this ending. Only thing i dont understand is why Castiel was not in this episode, reuniting with the boys in the end. Sam, Dean, Bobby and Castiel. The four absolutely most important characters in this series. Unless Micha Collins was injured or sick in covid or something when they filmed this episode, the descision to not include him is almost unforgivable. Anyway, other than that i think i liked this ending. Very emotional!

I have to disagree. Cas got his farewell speech and center stage moment. And we know he's now in heaven, based on Bobby's words. The finale belongs to Sam and Dean. It was their journey. Their story. And I think Dean was waiting for Sam to join him in heaven before he went to see the rest of his loved ones. He'd want to share that ride with Sammy, too.

It was about the family they created and all those members who are part of it. Cas was one of the main family members as he was in 12 seasons out of 15 and stood by the boys side. The show started out as Sam and Dean but it ended up becoming so much more then just them and the writers chose to ignore that with the finale.

I do get that. But there are some actors that live in Canada so the restrictions wouldn’t be that bad for them. Plus they could have done some voice overs too. I’m sure those don’t have to be done in Canada. So at the Roadhouse you could have had Ellen, Jo and Ash talking in the background. Or they could have used some Archived footage.
