Love them both. Morissette is indeed a versatile vocalist, she shines the most on her mid-chest belts. Leona on the other hand has a warmer and thicker head voice which is her strongest suit full of resonance. These ladies are amazing.💖💝

MORISSETTE is just naturally brilliant, versatile, consistent 99.9% of the time, Leona on the other hand just never had the tools that Morissette has especially with what she is putting out right now, I feel her low notes is what she concentrates more on now, she is more of a free spirited ARTIST now, she's able to do what she wants now 🇬🇧🔥👌❤️

Morisette low notes are much fuller and she doesn't mix, it's always chest belting for maximum resonance. When she wants to go higher in the A6-D7 notes it will be on the whistle tone (though she sometimes do mix belt and head voice on A6-C6 notes). It's Mori all day long! ❤

Loved the reaction. I just have to say that whenever it comes to Leona Lewis and her voice, most people doesn't want to admit to the fact that she is ONE OF THE MOST GIFTED FEMALE VOCALISTS OF HER GENERATION. I STAND ON THAT. That Bb4 and B4 she did in this video was absolutely amazing!!! Her head voice and falsetto is second to none. This video was almost like comparing Whitney (Morissette's power belts) and Mariah (Leona's soft and gentle tone).

Based on this video: Morissette (upper belts) as impressive as they were, sounds shrill and shouty and sounds like she pushed the hell out of those notes. Personally, Leona's tone and vibrato was all it took for her to take the cake.

leona has declined over the years (which is sad) but in her prime she was a vocal monster like her head voice alone was truly outstanding morissette on the other hand is more versatile with her voice with her belts and chest voice; she also had problems with her voice (just a bit though) which caused her to change her technique

i agree! Leona's vocal tone alone outshines Morissette! Morissette is amazing, but she sounds just like any other good Asian singer! She has that typical Filipino belting voice that is not unique! Leona has unique tone and unique vibrato paired with the best falsetto and head voice in the music business since Mariah and Whitney! Leona's mid-range belting in my opinion is also way more resonant and open than Morissette! The only part that Morissette has that is better is her upp er mixing belts starting from F5. Leona does not sustain F5 or higher, that's just not her style! She does sutain E5 but not higher! It all depends on styles! I prefer overall vocal tone and style and melissma vs. pure non-stop belting 24/7. 95% of all Filipino singers do this! They all go for brute belting force, non-stop! It just makes them sound overly harsh, over the top, not unique! I like dynamic voices like Leona! Leona also has the best register transitions I have ever heard! When she flips from chest to head, it's heavenly!
