While we as humans will always sympathize with the conditions that we see our fellow human beings in, we could do a few things. I have tried the first one and got abused by a beggar 😂😂 1. When you give packaged things ensure that you open it and give it to them. If you give them rice then open the package as no shopkeeper is going to take an open package back and coz of this they may actually use it to feed themselves and the kids. 2. Do not let them get to you. They are trained to give you sob stories, do not buy them. 3. Be assertive when you tell them NO and stick to it. 4. Offer them jobs at work places and not your homes as they could be followed by their gang leaders and your family and you could be in danger.

This is soo true...when I use to go to college I use to board bus from a particular signal...... 1st day a female begger boarded the bus with a 7yr old kid and a 9-10days old baby. She started singing filmy songs and making sounds with stones in her hand and the 7yr old girl kid started dancing. After finishing she asked for money to feed her kids,all of us in the felt bad for the kids we gave money. But day after that day the same women board the same bus with different kids. Instead of a girl this time there was a 10yrs old boy and a 9months old kid in her lap. As usual she started singing,when she came to me I asked her loudly that I gave u money yesterday only and that day u were having different kids today u have different kids. She without collecting money from anyone just left the bus at a random signal. Everybody in the bus said ki yeh log bohot chalu hai....yeh Inka dhanda hai.bohot bara racket hai inka...from that day I don't give money to any begger (sorry but no sorry) instead I offer food...bohot zayada bura laga toh

Here is an incident i remember when my schl take our tour to AGRA there i m standing in front of icecream 🍨 shop then there 1 begger (kid) arrived asking me for money i didn't gave him money instead i gave him icecream and asked the kid to tear the pack in front of me he did as i said but later that kid take his whole family to me 😶😶 nd they all asking for money.... And not leaving my hand ! Touching me for money like please give give usss.... We are poor like this ! None of them ready to leave but i continuously refusing like nO no no .. now i font have money ! And those are not even listing to me ... But later my pt teacher came and save me by scolding there whole family .. 💀 and then that day he teaches me that never to give money or something to eat if you are lonely .. like no adult with you otherwise they will make a circle around you and then you can't leave

Hello Aditya bhai, I'm from Pakistan and love your content. The situation is exactly same in here as well. Many times I myself have caught these people faking abnormalities and collecting money in a highly organized way on road signals and bazaars. This is a proper industry and beggers are so professional that they beg in a designated area for decades. They are also so powerful as group that sometimes even police is taking bribe from them to not arrest.

There were recently a lot of beggars lurking around in my town (mostly children)....n i don't know why a lot of them come to me. It felt like harrasment. Once we went to a market n a girl started asking me for money.....like none of my friends, just repeatedly to me. Another time, a kid came up n just stood so close to me requesting me money. He even started rubbing his toes against mine. I understand he was just a kid, but i still felt so disturbed. I had no change either. Thankfully my cousin came soon n handed him some change. But the kid was adamant in getting money from us BOTH. I told my cousin that i only have a 100 rs note ....Maybe he heard it, and blurted out "han 100 rupaye dedo". Like wat seriously. And another time i can never forget, this girl literally followed me to the shop from my college area. My friend looked at her and legit said....yaar yeh yahan tak aa gayi? . I don't know why me! Maybe coz I dress up well so they believe i am some high class but no😭

I have heard that if you don’t give a beggar kid money, the one who is in charge (the one who the kid is compulsed to work under), ends up abusing the child for not bringing money to them. I think that to have child protection services in entire South Asia is a good idea. If there’s a kid or a baby begging, they need protection from the law, they are children, and deserve to live a happy childhood like every other child.

Don't give money to people on Road. Try to help people you know personally. They won't ask you any money because of self pride. Many of them are leaving with only 1 meal per day and they won't ask or share their stories. If their is no one who is not capable to work due to some health or Age issue try to give them support financially or give small help for making some self earning Job

I am living here in village and i can surely say that there a lot less beggers in most of rural India, there can be many reasons behind that One most of rural population are farmers and they work very hard and for their earnings and they don't easily fell into this emotional trap Most of the time they don't carry cash with them bcz they buy things on udhar and pay after selling their crops after a season. One thing i have seen is that people in villages asks a lot of questions to them and this makes hard for begging hard. There are many other reasons also
