I'm not a lawyer, but I'm pretty sure that you should be fine. You can't trademark "tower defense" because that's a specific game genre and the word "meme" is vague. Also, there's probably 100 other games with "Meme Tower Defense" as the title. Oh, and it's pathetic for someone to attempt to copyright it as copyright and trademark are two different things. Copyright means to claim ownership over the gameplay while trademark means to claim ownership of the name. They basically just copyrighted nothing. A waste of $250 as it'll be dismissed or irrelevant anyway. I'm sure a lawyer would spend 10 seconds looking at this and say "Yep, you're fine." because they ain't Disney or Nintendo.
