Legend has it that commander horizons will release when the packs cost more than precons used to

I think you’re mistaken for the free spells cards. Being able to evoke in an elemental and then sac it immediately to one of these is going to be devastating, depending on which one.

So i thought about this one for a little bit, and i’m not sure I agree. I might be wrong about the Flares in general, but I don’t think pairing them with the Incarnations is what’ll break them. 1. Subtlety into Flare of Denial only does something if there’s 2 spells on the stack, one of which being a creature or PW for Subtlety 2. Fury interaction got banned, but would also require an additional instant to copy with the Flare 3. Solitude into Flare would be maybe good if you needed to simultaneously not die to damage and remove a threat for the crackback, but not a lot of board wipes see play right now. a lot of times, Solitude alone is enough to keep you in a game. 4. Grief into Flare is probably the most realistic one, but going Grief - Not Dead - Grief on Turn 1 is already such a good line that I doubt you’ll want to hold Griefs for future interactions. the black flare also just lacks the flexibility if something like Sheoldred’s Edict 5. Endurance into Flare doesn’t work because Flare of Cultivation is a sorcery. It might be Nic Fit tech in legacy though.

I agree with your points. I don’t think the incarnations are going to be what break it either, but I do think they will find their respective homes, where that will be however, I’m still unsure. Mainly speaking for the free counterspell though, it’ll be easier to slot in to a large variety of decks. The others, I’m not so sure. I think they make good sideboard tech, but I believe most of them will just end up as commander cards.
