@stevekenilworth6 ай бұрын
tank slapper under control best not to get in to one to start with, if possible allow slide to burn of energy / speed and only when car ready you line up exit corner you may run wide but its far better than tank slapper. up hill right corner in i20 gone in to hot , two options do corner to fast or unsettle entrance corner and deal with what car wants at slower speed that what i did a controlled slide, then no computer help it broken so no esp,abs,tc i knew i was in hot water quick thinking and did not panic and did not rush the car it worked and lovely clean exit to corner no tank slapper. pushing to hard on road driven lots but not a night and wet and lots leaves and forgot how sharp corner is before long mile straight, other direction you can go faster for some reason but it caught me out that night. best advice do not rush the car do not correct until its ready you can get very unsettled otherwise

Thank you for taking the rally as a topic. Personally, I have seen longer jumps and where you can see them the most is the Neste rally Finland, it is the fastest gravel rally in the world, so if you want to see such a welcome in Finland, it is a different thing to watch those videos when you are seen on the spot. those jumps on gravel were mostly in Finland and that snow was from the Swedish rally. But you had good comments and remarks.

Thank you for this great video! I think the longest officially measured live rally car jump is still done by Thierry Neuville in 2018 Neste Rally Finland. It was almost 200 feet. Over 60 meters.

After the F1 drivers you were seeing the best drivers in the world. Nothing compares to them. Nascar doesn't even come close. Make no mistake, the cars they drive and the technical teams are the pinnacle of technology. I follow these rallies live in Portugal and the speed between the limit of the car and beyond is frightening, at which they pass on narrow roads and zero margin of error, flanked by walls, trees and precipices. Enjoy the world of WRC.

every now and again i do bit drop off jump in my i20 but nothing likes these. but still on very narrow bumpy country lanes loads fun but only when you see its safe so no people,junctions,entrances and road condition allows and as not closed road be at speed you can stop before you get to next sharp corner as may only be room for one. loads fun still and 60mph on road about foot wider than car and walls and trees very close it feels like 120-130mph if not more, and fav road top mountain two long straights middle a slight corner 2nd straight has some jumps i20 not as good as fiesta but load fun and you get some speed. never put other public at risk its just me when see its safe so bit safe fun one hell of a buzz, but do a bit at a time as so easy to push more and more get carried away, have bit fun settle down go again
