Yay!! Thank you guys so much!! They are First Nations Haisla, originally from Kitamaat Village, British Columbia. They are so fire. I wish they would get more play in the American hip hop scene because I absolutely think they deserve it. So my mission is to expose as many people to them as possible. Creator Made An Animal, and Indigenous Resistance are two of my favorites. Indigenous Resistance is heavy and the message needs to be heard because I think so few non-Indigenous people know what challenges those communities face in terms of agency, rights, or the work they put into cultural revitalization and linguistic integrity. Skoden is a great song but my favorite of theirs is Long Hair Don't Care, but also the song Something Else is a good one, which was made in response to during the 2020 elections CNN calling First Nations "something else" on national TV. anyways cool reaction buds
