6 costs aren't HORRIBLE, but they definitely aren't good. Yeah viktor makes them much worse, but the thing I don't like about them is just the added layer of RNG. This set has so much dice rolling and it's crazy. I've only played since set 11, so I'm probably not the most knowledgeable person, but having to deal with RNG with getting good augments, rolling for your units, and items as well as now having to deal with random rolls on the anomaly now and people getting early 6 costs, its insane. Maybe I'm wrong, but I feel like there should be at least some sort of guaranteed outcomes within a match. Like it was nice knowing you could target a specific anomaly even if you would have to roll your money if you got unlucky. The fact this game has a ranked mode and is an esport is insane, yeah there is definitely skill involved in the game but no amount of skill can save you from another person hitting the absolute jackpot in a game.

poker is one of the most successful competitive games out there and poker rng is roughly comparable to tft rng in my opinion.

​@@peterbergeon9001Somewhat of a crazy take. In poker you actively influence other players. A good poker player can make the worst RNG work, but in e. g. TFT you will always be limited simply because it's a numbers game. There is only so much you can do about cold, hard one's and zero's.

6 costs are cool. But the matter of fact is, 6 costs lopsiding the match directly after anomaly is kinda bad. Imo warwick is fine. Mel and viktor needs some finetuning and some nerfs. The fact that 1 6 cost is equal to trait level of power, or an augment, needs some rebalancing because you can always make room for the 6 costs, but finding it is so rare, theres no reason to even consider why you lost. Imagine playing 7 rebels to lose to a freakin viktor because your stun has been essentially neutralized by one unit. Having what is essentially free extra life with mel and having to fight another battle when you couldve at least ended second is dumb. I like the 6 costs, i really do, but they're just too powerful and too random for no reason. Ofc, my favorite 6 cost is still viktor despite him being so broken.
