this entire game and the gamebase is just so bad. All the players only wanna win. It's not abt fun but abt revenge killing, toxic behaviors and so on. Almost all the players are guilty of this, including Cris, especially when he goes and looks into people's profiles and tries to justify losing the game. It's bad but the game is also bad so lol

I think the problem got a lot worse with the 11-13-2023 Patch notes by increasing the Ice Shard+ attack speed from 65% to 100% for no reason. They reverted the regular Ice Shard's attack speed earlier this year, now they need to revert/nerf the Ice Shard+ attack speed back down to 65%. They can do other changes too, but they should do this at minimum, since Timi obviously cannot balance Glaceon with it's attack speed as is, and buffing/nerfing the damage of Ice Spear isn't doing anything.

Almost all special attackers were in a good place for a while but timi have touched almost all of them since the 4-5 patches we have got since the anniversary. Just bcoz ppl weren't playing them doesn't mean they needed changes and most of those changes are forced. All this while so many of the mons that actually needed one(especially the older ones) didn't got the love that they needed nor was there an exciting shift in the meta.

This made the character less fun to play by making shards too simple to get, which makes the character both less fun to play and also much more difficult for a studio like Timi to balance the character. It's sort of a similar issue to making Hyper Voice simpler to hit with Sylveon with the increased cone. Making characters easier to play, when people were already playing it just fine, is usually not a good idea. Timi will never balance spear Glaceon with the kit as it is atm.

To be fair, Icicle Spear is a sure hit move that's meant to do absurd amounts of damage since it takes time to set up... As the meta shifts the 'fairness' of Icicle Spear also shifts with it like a broken compass does when it's tilted

Just tried gardevoir future sight buff and that is ridiculous. 1600 damage right on level 5 if you go jungle and if you get to level 13 that’s around 2500 damage including the future sight resets. I’m so happy Gardevoir is gonna be back in the meta ✨

I really don't like icicle spear, I do enjoy icy wind however. the isue here lies in how much worse that moveset is compared to icicle spear. especially after this useless buff. to make icy wind work you'd need to do so much effort and dedication, along with central lane which would be reserved for way better options. it's honestly sad at which state glaceon is in this game
