I had a van like that (which I recommend you do not purchase 😄) and the way I emptied it out, was to drive in reverse wirh the rear doors open, and slam on the brakes. That approach worked fairly well! 🤣

What is the ideal amount of vert on a quarter pipe in 2023? On an 8 foot high quarter, six inches of vert? On a 6 foot high quarter?

I'd say 6" on an 8ft would feel pretty good. 6ft quarter should barely reach vert at the coping. Not too familiar with dimensions since I never built any of my own stuff, but definitely prefer things on the mellower side.

Have you ever ridden a ramp similar to the X-games halfpipe, which is similar to Tony Hawk's ramp? I believe the specs are: 10 feet high with one foot of vert. Woodward West has one, but not sure about Woodward PA. Your riding style seems to favor big airs, so it would be interesting to see you ride one of those large halfpipes!

@AmazingChinaToday World needs more indoor skateparks, haha. The only vert ramp I’ve ridden is the Woodward PA one. Not sure of the exact specs but it’s a bit mellower than most from what I’ve heard. 1.5ft of vert

So why don't you buy a old used RV? It will already have everything you need and it will be much bigger. That van just looks like a lot of work for such a small place

RV would be nice but they're just too big and too expensive to run. I drive a LOT and don't use camp sites, so the vans are perfect. This model gets 25mpg and I can get away with parking pretty much anywhere. Also have very specific storage requirements with the motorcycles / mtb / bmx bikes

So there's this viral vid been goin around 4ever now, idk who the rider is, haven't looked it up. I'm sure you've seen it. It's a flair whip to foot jam like 270, during best trick I believe. I'm pretty sure I know the clip. It was a South American rider in the Fise mini ramp contest (can't remember his name at the moment). Flip whip to footjam might be a little too painful for me but I plan to give the straight flip to footjam a shot soon-ish :)
