If you ever watch Outdoors with Eric, he uses a regular mulcher on a skidsteer made to do that type of work you are doing. It works much better

Never heard of that channel, but have to check it out sometime. Yeah, a skid steer with a forestry Mulcher would have been perfect for this job. But again this job would have been way too small for that type of setup. Not many ppl would drag their expensive setup over for 30 mins of work. They are looking for the bigger jobs with that setup. The forestry Mulchers can be $50k brand new just for the attachment. And then a skid steer to run it is upwards of $75k new. Very expensive combo for a tiny job like this. I’m glad someone was paying attention. Most probably didn’t even listen to what I was saying lol. It was a lot of the same on that job. Moving the thicker stuff so I could get down to the smaller stuff. In previous videos I’ve had ppl ask time and time again why I did this or why I did that. I think most of them figured it out in this video. Sounds like you caught on quick. Some first time viewers would have asked the same question over and over though. But I haven’t seen very many questions in the comments as to why I did what I did on this job. The voiceover must have worked on this one. What did you think of the Ventrac? Did it ok?
