I just watched the video. I am from the streets but as I matured a lot as I grew older and wiser. He handled it well. I congratulate him for not losing his temper and reacting in a different manner. It’s a shame this world is full of so much envy. But they must pay for the actions of the child. Sucks a expensive car has to get reported to insurance the day after you purchase it. But they must pay for there actions and I don’t agree with the law but he handled that well.

I don’t care if it’s a 1974 Ford Pinto, DON’T TOUCH IT! It’s a respect thing. Nobody has any right whatsoever to do damage to another person’s property no matter if it is a 60k car or a 600 dollar car. And I do believe Derek handled it the right way.

Anyone who says that’s what you get for buying an expensive car, is just jealous of the hard work you put in that they’re not willing to put in tbh. But imo insurance should cover the paint fix after being sent the police report

The underlying problem is people have lost respect for others and their property. I think social media has made people less afraid of consequences and more likely to hide behind vandalism.

Derek handled it with class. I am from same area, so it hits a little closer to home. An I myself have a Mustang with money tied up in it. I probably wouldn’t have handled it as nice.
