Strange thing happened to me this past wednesday. Im in Canada, stopped at Walmart . I was going down an aisle where someone was grabbing the last couple of cans of black beans on the shelf. Went about my business, then had to come back to that isle . When i did ,a young man was stocking up the shelves. He had a box of black beans but was walking away after putting 4 or 5 cans on the shelf only. I asked why he didnt fill it , he said " thats what we are told to do , to keep the shelves low on stock! I asked uf they had plenty in back , he said , yup just as much as usual? So what ? Faking low stock? Causing fear spending?

It’s been everything a lot of us have been seeing for at least past decade. People called us conspiracy theorist. They didn’t believe about chemtrails. They didn’t believe about how they can influence the weather. All these animals dying and then trying to say they have no idea why. Just like they’re saying that it’s normal for children to have heart problems young adults to have strokes. It’s been in a plan for many decades. It’s just now instead of doing the research back then people see it with their own eyes. We knew when people woke up. It would be too late. Do you still not believe us about the deep population?

Simple Trick: Use stuffing mix to make meatloaf, meatballs. Very tasty, no measuring, no herb shortage. One pk stuffing to about 1 to 1-1/2 lbs lean ground beef [turkey, if you like that] with an egg + liquid/hot water/milk/ketchup - makes 2 loaves for 5-6 servings each, so freeze one. Stuffing always goes well with pork roast or chicken, and a whole chicken is usually much cheaper per pound than cut pieces. I always grab plenty of stuffing any time of year - very useful.

Dear poplar report community ,it seems the perfect episode to give an UPDATE on my indoor vegetable garden experiment. Regular watering and and ample light are required. Weekly fertilizer is also required as there's only so much nutrients in a potted plant. I have experimented with cloning store-bought vegetables as well as from seeds . Carrots like to grow indoors and my potatoes do pretty good as well, but not as well as outdoors .but, they do return my tubers and at least give me one or two potatoes to eat . Celery and lettuce loves to be cloned, I have several of those growing like gangbusters . I also have bell peppers and beef eater tomatoes which of course love to grow indoors. I have multiple varieties of both. I tried cherry tomatoes but they are very big bushy plants that take up a lot of space so I stick with the smaller plants. I love that this community is here for me I live alone I seem to have been forgotten in this world and it's nice to have like-minded people who just want to survive. Or better yet to thrive. But the way our world is going to hell in a handbasket I'm just glad to have people's thoughts and words at my fingertips to keep me company thank you Steve for all you do, you really are a saint. I went to the local Save-A-Lot and I picked up a bag for frozen broccoli. I checked the label and found that the country of origin was Turkey. I put it back. Maybe, the reason frozen vegetables are taking a hit is because they are coming from another country and shipping is a problem right now. I will not buy food from other countries when we grow enough of it here. When a fruit or vegetable I like is in season, I purchase enough for the year and freeze or can it for later or go without.

update Northwoods Wisconsin went to the store and it was very skimpy for eggs, milk. Also bread was scarce. We wanted to get butter ahead, but it's hit and miss here. No produce at Walmart. They were trying to put cookies and chips in their place. Also anyone who is in Hoven, SD. The Hoven Dairy plant just closed permanently, they made cheese, over 35 people just got told that Friday was there last day. The head of the company told them that cheese wasn't moving like it use to. The main plant is here in Wisconsin. So much for job security, after 20 yrs. My brother in law has no job. He is retiring now. They stocked up, Steve, because of these reports. Thank You!

The industry has some problems with the pulp-based cellulose production since 2020. There are two issues: at first, energy prices have gone up, and production of that stuff is pretty energy-intensive. The second point is that they partly rely on recyled paper, and there they compete with cardboard producers for boxes especially used in the growing mail order/e-eommcerce biz.

Consider that the trucks that deliver those goods can be restricted by all weather conditions- not just snow and ice. Recent storms had widespread heavy wind and these will shut down trucks as well…. Cannot run with am empty trailer or loads under 20,000 lbs. This impacts timeliness of loads to warehouses and distribution centers, as well as store deliveries.

Lentil curry or lentil soup is pretty simple. And you can add almost "everything" to it, depending what you have in stock. Take pre-cooked lentils, then some pre-cooked potatoes (cut in small dice-alike pieces), pre-cooked carrots (again dice-alike pieces), piceces of sausages, a little bit of parsley, some other spices as you like, some broth (a litte bit only for a curry, and some more plus some water for a soup), and basically that's it. And if something has been left over from previous meals, for example some veggies, you also can add. For the lentils and the potatoes, you either can take the fresh ones and pre-cook them yourself, or you take the stuff from cans. For the carrots, it's even better to use the pre-cooked ones from cans. It's pretty important to slowly heat/boil all that over a longer time. Give the lentils and sausages some time in the broth to unfold their taste.
